Okay that is one nice gym and rack!!! I'm with Diane. When can I move in? Also aren't you a little bit overdressed for the gym?

Default Today's Workout!

Here are details from today's workout:

(All for 3x10's, 60 sec rest between supersets)

A1 Front Squat 75 lbs
A2 Neutral Shoulder Press 17.5 lb dbs

B1 Standing Cable Abduction 5 lbs
B2 Tricep Pushdown 30 lbs

C1 Incline Flys on Swiss Ball 17.5 lb dbs
C2 Scap Pushups

Side Plank (1x50 secs/side, 2x35 secs/side)

Followed by Flexibility/Mobility work

Ok, stick a fork in me, I'm DONE!!! This one wiped me out!!!!

*I feel like my form is getting better on the front squats - I definately felt it more in my quads today. I've been using the "arms straight out in front" position to get the bar placed correctly, then once I have it that way, I'm crossing my arms in front - it feels more stable that way

*I changed equipment for the cable abduction exercise. Last workout, I used the bowflex, and had to do them seated. This week, was able to do them standing (like I was supposed to be doing) on the new power rack! Boy did I feel them in my glutes!!!! And wimpy weight, too!!!!

*Hit a new PR on them damn side planks!!!!!

I guess I've been a tea-drinking machine this past week or two. In the past couple of days I've run out of 4 flavors - so looks like a trip to Teavana in my future. I'm hoping to go tomorrow afternoon, but just heard on the radio that we might get "an inch of slushy accumulation" tomorrow - NO WAY am I gonna go out in that crap in my car! So we'll see - if I don't go tomorrow, I'll get up there this weekend.

I am sooooo ready for SPRING!!!

nice workout tracey. isn't it the best to feel that you have absolutely pushed yourself to the max. too much fun, I have never done this before, pushed myself to the max, even when I have had trainers.

Hey Tracey-

Did you get your new teas yet? I'm thinking I'll place another order soon.

My boss wanted to go on a site visit to Erie this morning and the drive home was not pretty. But I'm here and soon it will be nap time - yeah!!

Tracey:

We're going to the Battleship tomorrow. I might have to get a Rosie the Riveter t-shirt.

COOOOOOL!!!

Today was a rest day for me - not much going on cept for a trip to the tea store, and grocery shopping. We did end up going out the dinner (DH didn't feel like cooking!) and I was able to stick with my diet plan for the day (it's a low cal, low carb day). We went to Woody's Crab House for dinner - one of those seafood places where they put brown paper on the tables. I had a sack o'steamed shrimp and a sack o'steamed broccoli - YUMMMMMMM! I told Kevin we may need to turn Tuesday Low Carb Day into Dinner at Woody's day!! EASY to stay on track there!

Hi Tracey

Good work up in here!

I have a question for you. Did you get extra weights for your power rack for the lat pulldown? I am wondering what to pick up. I have the small hole bar and weights and I will have to get some oly's

Thanks! Good Log

Ooh that restaurant looks delicious! Great job on staying on your plan and eating out - that is one of my downfalls.

Nice workout, great job with the PR on the side planks! Sticking to the diet is so hard when the food is out of my control (ie... out to eat, or hoem for the weekend when I ust eat what mom cooks, hehe). But we went out last night and I behaved myself! I had an individual pizza (I know... but it's not "normal" pizza!) it was a thin=crust whole wheat pita-like crust, with no sauce, and chunks of chicken, tomatos and mushrooms with little blobs of mozzarella cheese and pesto.... I need to figure out how to make this myself, cuz it was yummy! hehe.
And all this tea-talk makes me really want CT to get a teavana store mear me!

Hi Kelly! We have a BUNCH of weight plates, both the oly size, and the others. We have both sizes of bars, and lots of plates for each.

Leah - that's usually my problem too - but I'm learning that I can still go out, eat YUMMY food and still stay on track! Even the bread basket didn't get me!! I did have one small taste of DH's Crab Bisque soup - it's the BEST crab soup we've ever had, so it was a challenge for me not to order my own bowl. There must be 500 cals in that little bowl - you can taste the butter in it!!! But I was happy with a tiny taste!

Kara - yeah - it's tough when you have no control (like at Mom's!!). That pizza sounds GREAT! You could probably make something very similar with a whole wheat pita, or a whole wheat tortilla.

I posted this on the "OFFICIAL" check-in page, but wanted to keep track in my journal too.

Hey, Tracey, workouts look really good and you're definitely firming up, especially in the mid-section!

Great progress. It won't be difficult now to stay on plan is it, with such good results!
Following you with the tea... been drinking tea more consistently, though I wonder how it will go in summer.
