Hey Tracey:

I thought of you yesterday when I was at the Battleship Texas. They had a bunch of Rosie the Riveter things. The T-shirts and mugs were pretty cool, but the hats were ugly.

COOL! I may have to check online to see if I can find a tshirt like my avatar!!

Yesterday, DH and I went down to Texas Roadhouse for my nephew's 20th birthday. I'm so proud of myself! Before we went to the restaurant, I looked up the menu online, and figured out what I was going to order (grilled shrimp on bed of rice, salad and steamed veggies) and that's what I ordered and ate!!! My niece did make a huge chocolate chip cookie in the shape of a heart for a "cake" and I had two small bites of that, but other than that, I did exactly as planned!!

When we got back home, I got my endurance aerobic workout done
45 mins on treadmill
5 min warmup
35 mins of 2 min @ 4.5mph/2 min @ 3.5mph
5 min cooldown
AVG HR: 139

I was going to do a step aerobic workout, but there was stuff all over the basement, since DH was down there putting together the new power rack and lat tower! I get to use our new "toy" today for my workout later this afternoon! YIPPEEE!!!

Today's workout was:

(All for 4x8's, 60 sec rest between supersets)

A1 Romanian Deadlift 115lbs
A2 Wall Sits Swiss Ball 15's

B1 Lat Pulldowns 60lbs
B2 Standing Alternate Bicep Curls 17.5's

C1 Rear Delt Rows Swiss Ball 10's
C2 Plank (2 mins 10 secs, 1 min 40 secs, 1 min 29 secs, 1 min 21 secs)

followed by:
Flexibility/Mobility work

My last set of deadlifts, my grip kinda gave out on me, so I ended up doing 4 reps, put the bar down and rested for about 15 secs, and did the other 4 reps. Need to work on my grip strength!!!!

I our new power rack!!!

Great workout! Those are heavy RDL's - I can see how your grip had trouble. And I am really impressed with the plank over two minutes! I can't wait to see you rack when I get home.

You are kicking some serious butt, girl. Keep it up. You have got it going on, for sure.

Wow wow wow....I am soooooooooooooooo jealous of your gym! Your set-up totally rocks. Holy moly. I need a new job, or something.
I love your "pose"! Way too cute. It's so nice to see pictures of people. When I get over my shyness I will post some.

That's quite a setup you have there. I'd probably put together more of a home gym but the basement isn't too inviting a place for working out.
