I know you're not posting in here much but in case you're still dropping in....

My 80-year old mother and her friend (probably in her 70s) are headed down to the local seniors center tomorrow to sign up for a Nia class they're offering this fall. This is a big deal for my mother who avoids places that old people gather.

I'm so happy about your mom signing up for Nia. Please let me know her teacher and keep me up-to-date on her thoughts on the experience. During my intensive I met the oldest Nia teacher (75) and she's been teaching at least 12+ years (she's a black belt). Woman can MOVE.

I don't think I've met her but Ooo, Black Belt. Your mom should have a blast (and you should go too. They might let you visit)!

She mainly teaches classes in different locations (the seniors one isn't even listed, probably because it's very cheap in comparison). It's possibly a future thing for me, just not at the moment.
