How's the shoulder now Sarah?

I rode outside yesterday for the first time in 2 months. Where's your updates?

The shoulder is doing pretty well...all things considered. I've got physical therapy again in the morning.

Thursday 30 min on trainer-I just couldn't get into it.
Fri / Sat off
Today: 22 miles of the Womble...pre-riding the course for the Ouachita Challenge. Felt good, but geez it was cold.....

My weight is down about 2 pounds this week.

How was your ride Kaiser?

Good work on the weight droppage.

My ride was cold as well. But really short. 14 miles on the 'cross bike beast out on the road.... ran out of sunlight. The cool thing is that I found a neighbor right across the street who's a rider so now hopefully we'll keep each other company on some of the cold and crappy rides. Always makes it go by faster when you've got a partner for early season base miles.

Hope your PT went well today. Tailwinds!

WU: 15 minutes
MS: Muscular Tension Intervals (50-60) RPM, difficult gear but not impossible. HR is not observed. Essentially a weight workout on the bike.
Intervals: 2
Length: 9 mins
Sets: 2
Rest: 4 mins
Rest Interval: 5 minutes
CD: 15 minutes

These 4 nine minute intervals were HARD! Man, though, after the carb binging yesterday and today, the sweat felt good.

Yep, so I've been lagging behind posting. I've been struggling with migraines again and the weather sucks. Blah. I'm lacking motivation.

Okay, so I just returned from the Women in Cycling seminar at the Olympic Training center. I learned about lots of super stuff from the leaders in nutrition, program design, and team building. My head spun when I left.

2 hour mountain bike ride yesterday. Felt great and hung with my friend whom I never hang with.
