Cats are teh cool. Sidonia, your cats are so cute! I have two boys, Otis the orange tabby and Lenny the black and tan tabby. They are old guys now. Otis is 17 and blind and Lenny is 15 and very "special". He has several birth defects, including NO EYELIDS , but is the sweetest little guy.

We don't do cats here (hey c'mon - I'm a hamster - I don't wanna be kitty lunch !) but foam-rolling and puppies - NOT a good mix either! I can't even stretch on the floor without getting an unwelcomed french-kiss and general face-washing...

Usually it's stan that likes to bother me in the middle of a workout. He's the main foam eater as well. I swear, I'm pretty sure he got ahold of a bit lying around the other day and then later shit foam.

He also has taken to trying to climb mt. newinclinebench and now there's a few kitty claw marks in it. *sigh*

They're adorable and sweet when they're not too busy terrorizing each other. Stan requires that I let him bathe me whenever he comes calling, and most of the night. Flipper requires that I do what he want when he wants (usually feed him, fat little tard.)

We got them a month after we let mousie sleep, a little more than a year ago. Flipper doesn't have a voice, he appears to be mute. Stan makes up for it though.. he'll talk when he's been away and comes back for bath time, or if he's been kept out of a room. He'll talk a lot. Apparently, he's chiding me for wanting privacy during my sexcapades.

I love them both bunches.
Finishing up the design for a tattoo of mousie, and this summer I'm making a resting place for her ashes. We had never given her a playmate, so I'm glad now that flipper and stan have each other.

sidonia.... too cute.
mousie liked the monitor too, and was equally bummed when we got the lcd.

flipper and stan have never known the awsum resting place that is a 20 inch crt.
and, fortunately, they've yet to discover the delicacy of tuna nor the funness of escaping to the outside. But they're only like 2 or so... so I'm sure given time...

Sorry to hear that you lost Mousie... But glad to hear that your kitties have each other to play with! When we went to adopt from the local shelter they wanted us to take two, so they wouldn't be lonely. We wanted two anyway...

Yeah...we're on the top floor of a 7th floor apartment building...we let them on the balcony with us once, but there was lots of tree fuzzies floating around...and Oscar almost gave me teh heart attack!!!

We got them in 2003, we were sitting around with no furniture, on two beach chairs eating cereal, when we got to the end of the bowl we were like...aww crap....no kitties to give the rest of the milk to!

Out to the shelter we went....

We've got a Great Dane. It's the biggest wanna be lap dog you'll every meet.

How do you like the YTWL or whatever they are called. My wife has been complaining about them for a week.

Ive hated them for years... they're just that irritating.
but every time I start doing them again my shoulders get stronger, even though I never get any "big" weights. I think the most weight I've ever used is like 8 pounds.

They don't bother me except when I'm doing them... then they're tedious and slow and I'm never gonna get to the final rep. It's one of the most exhausting things I do, actually.

But I know they're good for me so I do them.

gotta work on pushups, but my shoulders are feeling much better for it, so that's good. they're still the limiter.

Yeah... the rows ....really light. I'll fix that.

plank tough, prolly squats yesterday. need to stretch tonite.

music:
same playlist as yesterday, didn't feel like coming up with a new one or hittin random shit.

So now I finally get to post yesterday's workout.

I'm a little bummed, I ALMOST had my work done for today before I noticed the forum was back.

aaaannnywhooo...

So I decided I wasn't feeling up to full deads, and seriously I'm at the point where my grip is the limiter here. So, I did some rack pulls instead, finding the point where I can't hold the weight through the whole rep. 160. It slides out of my hand before I get back down, dropping the last inch. So I'll prolly sub them for deads next time too, stick at 155, and lower the rack a notch.

nothing else huge to note, that I remember...

music: same as above-above. Still didn't feel like changing it.

music:
intoxication - disturbed
all my life - foo fighters
tainted love - manson
pride - u2
without me - eminem

frickin hot in here, almost time to turn the ac back on... stupid hot weather and non-working ac.

on tap for tonite is cardio and lego indy. maybe not in that order.
