Just curious if anyone else is noticing these things about themselves... or others.
Yep - Danny's sent my photos back to me with notes added, pointing out problem areas, and it's helped me learn a lot.

I tried that too but he came back with: "Your nose is too big, your ears are funny, and your skin has the hue of hotel bedsheets."

Change of plans for me. I'm going to remain in the challenge, but I'm going the bulk/strength gain route. I'm getting more and more into strongman, and me trying to lose weight (at 185) isn't really conducive to me competing.

The light-weight class is anything 200 or under. So... I'm shooting for 199 by July. Nebraska's Strongest Man is in July, so the timing of that and the end of the challenge couldn't be better.

Now this doesn't mean I'm going to try and be a chunky 200... I'd like to keep my BF close to where it is now. 13-15%. Gain a little weight, get a bit stronger, and still make some changes in physique. That's the plan.

I seem to be stalled at my current weight/fat ratio. I've certainly lost but those pesky last few lbs won't budge.

Hey, physique change is what we're all aiming for... there's just different routes to different results. Still works.

Hang in there, Neil. It's only been a little over six weeks. Keep going, keep working on it. You'll get there.

Steve = awesome

Neil = You've got 4 more months (and some change) in the challenge brotha'. That's more than enough time to drop a couple left over lbs.

Yeah, I agree, Jill. There's a little too much namby-pamby support going on in here. Thought I'd stumbled into the ladies' challenge by accident ...

Month 2 update, compared to beginning stats:

Weight: 200 (+2)
Chest: 41.5 (-0.5)
Waist: 37 (-1.0)
Hips: 41 (-0.5)
Thigh: 22 (-1.5)
Arm: 13.5 (same)
Calf: 15.5 (-0.25)

Basically I'm slightly smaller all over except my arms, yet I weigh a little more than before. Sounds like a decent recomp considering I haven't been able to do any leg work for the past month or so.

Beginning/Now pics:

Here's mine

Had a bit of a mere getting the flash to go off - couldn't do it in the end.

Weight = 187
+8lbs
Bicep: 13.5"
Calf: 14
Thigh: 24"
Waist (at navel): 34.5" +.5"
Hips: 37.5"
Chest: 37"

Feel light shite, I reintorduced carbs for the past 4 days whilst at a University Reunion :- eating some pretty crappy foods also. My god I feel so weak and light headed.

Not sure if most of my initial weight loss was water weight, before I went I was 177 come back 4 days later 10lbs heavier

Top is January, bottom is March

Stats:
Arm – 12.5” -.5
Chest – 40.5” +1.5
Waist – 32.5” -.5
Hips – 34” -.5
Thigh – 22.5”
Calf – 14”

Notes:
Most of my "gains" were in the last two weeks. All weekend was basically me gorging, so...yeah. Feeling pretty positive over all. Next month should be a good one.

Big "good job" to Neal.
