Strongman comp tomorrow, so I've been eating a bit more than usual this week. Sunday, I'll reel the diet back in.

Brian,

Week two wasn't as dramatic...

How much, and how quickly, are you trying to gain?

Congrats to all those who are dropping the lbs. However, remember the first week or 2 of cleaning up one's nutrition will usually yield some significant lb drop. Its mostly H2O weight so don't get too excited and take your eyes off the prize.

LD - Actually it's not really my goal to gain much weight right now. I would prefer to maintain my weight while dropping a few %BF. That's what I ended up doing last year in first building phase. Although, I'm not too worried if I gain a few, it will all melt away in the cutting phase. Right now my focus is on eating big and lifting big.

Are you doing it in cycles or something? Up 4-6 lbs is pretty big for this amount of time.

No cycles just eating a lot. If I were cycling it would all be muscle instead of water weight. I will be happy if I'm up a few lbs of lean when all is said and done.

You guys don't talk enough. We women are blabbering up a froth. You are outdoing us in the smack department, though.

(Every time I come in here to see how you're all doing, I feel like such a dirty girl, like peeking through that hole in the door between the boys' and girls' locker rooms in middle school. Then I can't keep a straight enough face to do any well-wishing. )

Who needs talk? If I wanted talk, I'd turn on the tv. Besides, I can feel these guys getting fatter. Feel that? The Earth just tilted away from me. Someone ate a cookie. In Europe.

Oh. Where's that hole?

It's funny because it's true.

Men don't really need to talk. You said you'd do something. Do it. If you don't...then "yes, you ARE a loser". Grunt, grunt, boobies, grunt, beeeeer.

In a semi-queer locker room moment a guy asked what I do for my back.

Diane- us guys don't have time to talk, we're all too busy eating 16oz. steaks and dead lifting.

Gob- and by "back" do you really mean "ass".

Through the magic of TNT and periodic and strategic doses of buttermilk donut's and whey protein, I'm 185lbs, with a 1" reduction around the belly/naval and .5" reduction in at the waist/hips.

So THAT's what I'm missing from my TNT diet -- the buttermilk donuts! Seriously, great results.....I'm hoping to post some pretty good stats/results at the 1 month mark, too. Here's hoping. Keep up the good work!

Yeah. Don't rely on me as a role model here.

I'm 90% compliant and I've had absolutely zero "normal" carb meals. Meaning that I'm not on Plan B, C, D, or E. No whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes, etc. I'm not really missing that stuff. What I missed was a donut, so I had one (or two) with plenty of protein, waited my 3-4 hours til my next meal and went back on Plan A.

All I did was eat Plan A all the time and have a periodic "cheat" or dalliance from the diet. I'm going with two per week and I try to make them after a workout so they do the least harm.

Haven't measured myself and won't weigh myself until Sunday, but I noticed this morning that my jeans are getting loose. Can't complain about that.

Oh, yeah... bacon makes a nice dessert.

I'm waiting for my Sunday weigh-in to see if I can declare that a downward trend has developed.

But I'm feeling better, with a slight improvement in overall looks ( but that just may be wishful thinking).

More on Sunday...
