That looks like a new feature -- is that the downtown buildings in the background?
Did they add to the fountains by the library?

The first Fountain is over by the Wortham Center along Buffalo Bayou. The Second one is the Wortham Fountain across from the Federal Building. and the final fountain is in front of the El Paso Building.
As far as I know, there's no fountain in front of the Downtown Library, but they are putting one in at 1000 Louisiana

I guess I was thinking of the ones by the Wortham then, by the bayou? There's an old historic house and a pond at the bottom of a long hill? That's the area where I thought these were.
I need to walk that area more -- those pics are beautiful!

I just started last night. as far as lifting goes.... the diet is getting better, but I'm still missing my groove on it - I'm getting there tho.
I realized last night how much I have missed lifting. Lifting makes me happy. I feel strong. I slept like the proverbial log last night without any help from Tylenol PM or Benadryl. I got a good night's sleep.
So I am going to focus on working on merging TNT and aspects of Leigh's Program together so that I can do what I need to do. Lifting on TNT will happen twice a week with 3-4 days between each lift. 2 rest days a week. Doing the treadmill or walking outside 3 days a week. Stretching a lot.
Last night Bob and I went out for dinner at Mogul's and over to Half Priced Books. I had Chicken Vindaloo, rice pilaf, creamed spinach, and these little vegetarian meatballs. Bob has the Grilled Sampler that included Chicken, lamb, shrimp, and lamb sausages. Usually the lamb is pretty good, but this time it was a little muskier than normal. I'm not so sure it wasn't mutton instead of lamb.
Today has been laid back so far.
I think I'm going to go get a massage for these aching muscles of mine. Then clean house a bit.

Cleaned house this afternoon and then went for a massage at the Massage school a mile or so from me. The guy who did my massage was really good. Best $35 I've spent in a long time. Waiting for Bob to get over here and then we are gonna go wander around for a bit and then dinner.
I need to sit down later on and make up a shopping list for tomorrow. I think I'm going to make some hummus for this week.

Hey Paula... just checking in now that I'm back from "haitus" LOL.... sounds like you've had an eventful month! Glad you're getting back to the lifting and that it's making you happy! That's what it's all about, right? Great photos!

Glad to see you're getting your groove back.
Just popping in to see how you fared with Ike. Looks like you lived.
