Broken glass combined with getting on the scale NOT good. Getting on the scale is painful enough!
Congrats on continuing downward!

Egg Muffin
1 english Muffin
5 G Butter
112 G egg white
2 slices Jones Farm Dairy Canadian Bacon
Get small skillet nice and hot. Spray with a little cooking spray and then pour in egg whites. Salt and Pepper to taste. While that's cooking, toast the english muffin. When you flip the egg whites (try to keep them in one piece if you can), add the canadian bacon to the pan so it can warm up.
When muffin comes out of the toaster, split the butter between the two halves, put 1 slice of Canadian bacon on each half. Fold up the egg whites and put on one half of the muffin. Flip other half on top.

workout for today
10 minutes on the stairs of death (a.k.a. the stepmill) I had a friend on another board who could do this machine for a half hour. I was dying after 10 minutes. However, this knocked another task off my olympic games sheet.
Then it was 30 minutes on the elliptical. I watched a History channel thing about the perils of archeology in Egypt and Central America. The snakes skeeved me out.
Final part of the workout was track sprints. I got 5/8 done so that olypic game task should be taken care of by the end of the week.
Overall I'm happy. I'm getting stuff done and shaking up the workouts a bit and most importantly having fun.

Hot damn she came to my house over night!!!!! Let's pray that she comes back to visit again tonight!
All I can say is that if I continue the way I have the last couple days, I should be in the 230s by this weekend.
Although I sat higher scalewise than I wanted last week for most of the week, the mini vacation seems to be paying off in spades in terms of woosh. I'm seeing the same sort of effect that Anne was talking about yesterday in her journal. WOOOOOOT!

I hope so for your sake. When I said that it meant I got to spend the last 2.5 weeks hovering just over the fruuckin line. whooshey whishes.

That is absolutely the worst feeling Aoife. I spent most of last week on pins and needles about making 245.
I letting go of water again. It started Saturday evening and has continued.

Yay! It really does seem that my body needed a break from the constant losses though. I was concerned that last week's loss was purely water and that this week would stop. Well, it's definitely not as fast as last week, but it's still going down. So I definitely think I'll be doing it again (in about 11 weeks though).

I have a love-hate relationship with that machine... it takes a while to build up to 30 min - and I have to be in a GREAT mood and feeling 110% energetic to do it!
There's this older guy at my gym who gets on it (it's next to my favorite stairmaster). He goes for 5 seconds, stops for a while. Waits. Goes for 5 seconds. Stops. Waits. On and on... kinda makes me nuts with it turning on and off all the time, and then he stands there and just... stares... . I kinda want to tell him to try an easier machine or just walk regular steps if he has to stop after every few steps!
