Nice gains. Way to go on those jackknives!
Now get some zinc and vitamin c and take care of that cold.

I thought I'd gotten rid of it, but it's back today full force. I just took a 2 hour nap.

Bonked on these. Second set was three down from last time. These didn't go well at all. I did them barefoot (was going to try in my crosstrainers but it didn't feel right). Next time will do in my chucks. Looks like I also need to get a new step.
Prone Jack Knife
1×8 (+4)
1x 14 (+9) (over achieved on this one )
Second set of Jackknifes felt really good so I kept going.
Overall, this wasn't a bad workout but it wasn't a great workout either.

I know Alwyn has a good reason for the exercises he selects, but I think I get more out of one armed db rows than seated rows anyway.

No workout tonight. I've been in bed and sleeping all freaking day. I got up long enough to make oatmeal this morning, a sandwich this afternoon and I'm getting ready to make another sandwich this evening.
I feel crappy. Fatigued, a little snotty, but no fever thank goodness.
I don't think I'll be awake long tonight either.

So sorry Paula. It must be something in the Houston air: my dad sounds like he swallowed a frog and he feels pretty much like death warmed over, and Jack's cough finally turned to fever this weekend.
Hope you feel better soon!

That's pretty much how I feel Jamie, like death warmed over. Bob when he walked in last night, told me I looked puny. I feel pretty puny tonight too. And I know several people who live in canada and alaska that have had this crap too. ANd they all describe pretty much the same feeling.
I think it's time to go back to bed. being awake for 3 hours is about all I can handle at this point apparently.

Keeping you in my healing thoughts Paula for a speedy recovery. I swear by Airborne, it's worth the $5.00 to go through a package if I don't get sick and I usually don't!!

Thanks everyone. I'm still at home today. Don't feel quite as crappy as I did yesterday, but still not up to snuff.

feel better Paula - if you have the same crud that is going around this office - take the extra time - we've got them staying out...coming back...relapsing back with something worse (cold->bronchitis->pneumonia)

UGH
That sounds about right.
I had the first round of this on Jan 4. Felt good and started working out and then Sunday afternoon BLAM next round hit. Same stuff - only about 10 times worse. Yesterday I didn't hardly move out of bed. I stayed home today and ran to the store a little while ago to pick up some cat food and some egg noodles. And was completely exhausted by the time I got back. At this point, if I feel like this tomorrow, I'm going to the doctor. Not that they can do much for me, but at least I'll have my ass covered at work.
Everyone that I've talked to that has had something similar says a minimum of 3 days at home and that they didn't feel better for almost 5 days.... UGH

It was 2 weeks for me deary. Just rest into it and don't push it . (yeah right I know) This one has the potential to end up in your chest and get really bad so make sure you eat and drink and rest.

Going to the doctor today. I feel like I've been steamrolled or something.
