Sounds like you and Leigh have a great plan to do what you need to do.

I'm with you on hating all of the available food tracking options. I use fitday but am not thrilled with it. I keep dabbling in others but have yet to become motivated to switch.

Tina:

I liked calorieking, but I had just purchased fitday and didn't want to spend any more money on tracking programs.

Martha:

Yup we do. at this point, my job is to shut up and follow what Leigh says without letting my own ego get in the way. If I have a problem or observation I need to make that isn't me bitching and whining, then yes, I will share, other than that, I'll just do what Leigh says.

They really need to raise the temperature of the AC a bit here in the office. I was just thinking Mac and Cheese would be really good because it would warm up my hands.

Instead I'm having fish and a salad

That's the main problem with a/c: it's often set at far too low temperatures. Especially when you're dieting hard , body temp will go down.

Best solution: embrace the tea (or coffee) pot

did you tell us which mission this is?

and what are you doing to get the deep blue sky - do you have a polarizing filter on that camera?

there are three missions actually. The first Mission is San Elizario. The second one is Socorro Mission, and the final one is Yselta Mission which is on the Tigua Indian Reservation.

In order to get the whites not to wash out, I have to do a combination of a High Film Speed/Higher Aperture (at least 6.3mm) and fast shutter speed (anywhere from 1/1250 to 1/4000). It works well in bright light. but if I'm stupid and forget to reset everything as the sun goes down or I start working in shadow, I can run into some problems.

Default June 16 - Training

First night of doing the work out Leigh gave me.

Started out with Foam Rolling to the Calves, IT Band and Hip Flexor - All I can say to this is OW OW OW!!!! I'll be glad when more fat is gone so the foam roller can get to these a bit better. One curious (or maybe not so curious thing - I got a little nausated when I was doing this.

Then it was on to the Elliptical. 45 minutes averaging 137 HR and 400 calories burned. I was supposed to stay at 117 . I think the next time I do this, I'll take the Nikon for a walk . When I was going to the bus this afternoon, I found it pretty easy to get my heart rate up to 117 without walking much faster than I normally do.

I did one round of the recovery stretching. By the time I got off the elliptical and did one round I was pretty wobbly and I was feeling pretty wiped. IT band squats are interesting, I felt like I was curtsying to the queen

Off to plan my meals for tomorrow, send Leigh a few questions and go to bed.

Your photos look very crisp, clean and clear - very nice indeed.

Holy Crap...... I've dropped 9 LBs in the last two weeks and this is even with the food blip in El Paso. If I keep this up, I'll definitely be wearing new pants for my birthday next month.

Check out the difference in my measurements in the last week!

(click on the Past measurements sheet to see the last few I've taken). God it feels good to be headed in the right direction again!
