The hubby made an awesome meal last night - he took some of the blackberries, and made a sauce with them and some raspberry vinegar, and cooked some chicken breasts in that - YUMMMM Blackberry Chicken - it was TASTY!!
I can't WAIT for the local stuff - nothing like local fresh strawberries and blueberries!

Dude... the Pancakes were Protein Pancakes
1 can of packed pumpkin (not the pumpkin pie filling)
1.5 Cups of Egg White
1 tsp of Maple Syrup
Cinnamon and Nutmeg to taste
3 Scoops of vanilla protein powder (although I had to sub in a scoop of Butter Cream toffee dymatize because I ran out of vanilla)
Mix Pumpkin, Egg Whites, Maple Syrup and Spices together until fairly smooth. Add PP and mix until well combined.
Heat Griddle until sizzling hot and spray with a bit of pam. pour 2/3 cup of batter onto griddle and cook like a regular pancake (mine were about 8 inches in diameter - if you want a smaller pancake use 1/2 cup to ladle batter onto grill). Flip when top begins to look set and almost dry.

Totally on target with my food today.
Had the protein pancake for breakie... it was fantastic. I got out the door in no time.
Just had lunch Meatloaf (made with sirloin, oatmeal and eggs), broccoli, and some new red potatos mashed with a bit of milk and butter.
Snacks for today Yogurt with berries, apple and natty PB and tuna
Dinner is turkey burgers with green beans and tonight is lifting night....
I feel out of sight because I'm rocking it today!

Although last night was a planned lifting night I took the night off. I've worked out just about every other day for the last two and half weeks and last night as I was getting off the bus, my hip was twinging a bit. I decided that it was a good night for rest.
I think Dot is on her way because I've been tired the last few days. That seems to be the signal from my body that she's on her way.
