Good luck with the doc. I hope it's nothing. You've been sick a lot this year and had quite a bit of stress -- both of those can completely suck you dry and it can take quite a while to build reserves back up again. Hopefully, that's all it is, in which case, I recommend some intensive Paula-pampering!
It would be a nicer ass if I had enough energy to freaking exercise.

My goal for this week is to start logging food again. I eat much more consciously when I do this. My food choices for this week will tend to be TNT like when at all possible. I'm also going to add Gluconnan and a good multi-vitamin to my diet. I'm hoping that gets my body kickstarted to feeling better. If I can do this, and get the last two workouts in for Stage 1 I'll be a happy woman.

Hope you become a happy woman! Logging food is a pain, but it is real helpful.

Nice log, BTW. I think this may be the first time I've stopped by to say hello!

Finally feeling better. Still a little snotty but overall much better than what I have been. I went to dinner with a friend of mine last night and we stopped at the drug store so I could get some nyquil and more dayquil. I got a good night's sleep last night.

I think I'm going to go walking tonight to see what I can find around downtown Colorado Springs.

Breakfast this morning was eggs, bacon and oatmeal. Lunch was a black and blue salad from quiznos. I'm not sure what dinner is going to be. Probably something light.

Susan:

You are welcome... any time

Julie:
I am feeling much better. Finally seem to be over the cold

Today's workout was a 4 hour functional workout brought to you by Bob's House of Pain.

We spent most of this afternoon pruning trees. Activities included
Hoeing
Pulling various vines out of trees
Pulling branches to large piles
3 types of lopping activities:
Your basic arm movement
Your basic arm and thigh movement (since some of these branches required more power)
and your basic arm and abdomen movement. For those branches that are higer up and I needed more leverage on.

I should sleep like a baby tonight.

Tomorrow's workout will be similar but held at Bob's Mom's House of Pain.

Good girl. Just making sure you weren't going to conveniently forget about it.

My hands hurt from yesterday's activities and this afternoon is going to be more of the same.

Mom's House of Pain workout went well. We spent a good couple of hours trimming trees, getting rid of dead wood, and stacking it up so Bob could run it through the chipper. My hands and forearms are feeling it this morning for sure (although not as sore as they were yesterday morning when I got up). This evening's activity will probably be walking of some sort and some body weight work.

Ah - the early spring cleanup workout!!! I was able to get out and do some minor cleanup on Saturday - nothing anywhere NEAR as strenuous as you guys, but it was great to get out and get some fresh air!!

Didja call the doc yet???

It's good to be back in the office again. Have been cranking on the blank forms for the application we are getting ready to launch. Am stopping right now to eat lunch - Bob made some Chicken Cacciatore and rice and I'm having some of that. His Mom gave me some lettuce last night from her garden so I made a nice salad to go with it. A well balanced lunch.

Busy days today and tomorrow since Wednesday we're going on a field trip to a construction site for the day
