Hello Paula,
Good to see you working out again! The step seems nice! It looks like it is changeable in height?
Have a nice weekend!

Yup it goes from 6 inches to 10 inches in height
Which could be good for stage 2 when we have to pull from the box.

I'm not sure how a step would be received by most women as a V day present!
You guys are in my prayers.

Greg:
Bob and I would much rather spend our money on things that we know the other wants. Because he'd been so tied up with his dad's stuff he hardly had time to think about V Day. He ended up spending the gift card I got him on a rice cooker and he gave me ideas for his birthday next month (George Foreman Grill and a Coffee Pot).
Laid back day today. I was up early but Bob slept until almost 10. I made us breakfast (eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast) and then we went for a walk this afternoon. I think we walked 3 miles if not 4.

Paula and Bob walked 3-4 miles today. Boy do my legs feel it. Both of us were pretty quiet during dinner.

First of all I want to thank all of you for hanging out over the last month while I've dealt with Being Sick and Bob's Dad dying. I truly appreciate the support.I'm happy to say I got three days of activity in this past week! 2 days of weight training and a nice long walk yesterday afternoon with Bob. It feels good to be active again.
Today is Workout 4B. I'll be officially half way through stage 1 as of this afternoon. I've pretty much decided to skip the AMRAP workouts at the end of stage 1.
Planned food for today
M1 Egg mixed with Egg Whites, filled with Left over potato, onion, tomato and pepper. Topped with a little Salsa
M2 Pear and Yogurt
m3 Chicken and Salad with Raspberry Vinagrette
M4 Chicken, steamed veggies,
M5 Turkey and Banana
M6 Beef Stirfry with Broccoli. Brown Rice

Glad you're finally able to get back on track. Hey, don't worry about the AMRAP workout yet, wait till you get at the end of the stage and then think about it. It's probably as important as the other parts of the workout. I start mine today. Will post in my log how it goes.

Stage 1 4b Workout - Half way through Baby!
A Deadlifts
2×12×105
B1 DB shoulder press
1x 12 x 20 (+5)
1x 12 x 20
B2 Wide grip lat pulldown
1×12×35s (+10)
1×12 x 37.5s (+2.5)
The Gym doesn't have their wide lat pulldown equipment yet, but they do have something by Freemotion that lets me simulate a wide grip lat pull down that has a weight stack for each arm. So if you total the weight I did 70 and 75 lbs.
Lunges
1x 12 x BW+12s (e) (+2)
1x 12 x BW+12s (e)
Stability ball crunches (2×10) Did these with my arms extended and holding a weight
2×10×15
Killler!!!!
I'm going to be staying here for a while because the next set is 3x10.
