Great imagery there, Gabe. Too funny.

It's official. I have gained weight. I went to work all week and I can't find one pair of pants that doesn't cut off the circulation to my legs. It looks like 164 lbs is the magic number between wardrobe happiness and getting my ab work from having to suck them in to get my pants to button.
I'm faced with a choice. Do I nut it up and buy some big boy pants or do I cut back a little earlier than anticipated? For the record my bride likes the bigger me. I'm really just a cheapskate.

What movements help with this? compound or isolation?
Time to be a big boy

You should have put them on the Xmas list, Gabe.
Go out and buy some new pants. You've worked hard to bulk up a bit. Don't screw it up because of your wardrobe limitations.

Once you get lighter (again) you're not going to like it. I'm definitely slower than I was when I was lighter, but I felt stronger and more stable (manly) being bigger...even though a considerable amount of it was fat. You're still pretty lean...fuck it...buy bigger pants (you don't have to get enough to have a whole new wardrobe...yet). So you might lean back out later to get back to where you are *now*...that's cool, right?
Get a couple pairs of jeans\slacks to get you through. You ARE going to want to gain weight again later, you're going to NEED bigger pants. Do it. Being little sucks.

OK...I talked to my bride. Afterall she is smarter than me on most accounts. I'm going to quit being a dumbass and by some pants. I made a commitment to bulk all the way through January. There is no need to waffle now when I've still got 2 belt loops left. I want to try and top 170 before getting ready for speedo weather. A couple of pair of Old Navy pants won't keep my kids out of college and I go onward and upward towards completing my original goal of 165 with 10% or less of BF.

Day 15 (Upper Body)
BB Bench Presses: 3 x 3 @ 165, 5 x 3 @ 170 R60s
Seated Rows: 8 x 3 @ 180 R60s
Pull-Ups: 8 x 3 @ BW +35 R60s
Standing BB Shoulder Presses: 8 x 3 @ 110 R60s
Comments: Vacation officially started yesterday. I took off work after lunch. On the way home I started my Christmas shopping. I also went by the bookstore thinking I would pick up some vacation reading but nothing really struck my fancy. I went and worked out then met a friend for a drink before heading home. Stopped by Hobby Lobby and got a new piece of baseball memorabilia framed. A good start to the vacation.
The workout felt good. I was strong today. I went up on the bench and got 110 up for all 8 sets. Good times.
Day 16 (Lower Body)
BB Squats: 1 x 8 @ 155, 2 x 8 @ 160 90s
Reverse Crunch: 3 x 8 @ BW+10 60s
DB Deadlifts: 3 x 8 @ 65EH 90s
BB Roll Out: 3 x 8 @ BW 60s
Standing Calf Raises: 1 x 8 @ 150, 1 x 8 @ 135 60s
Comments: It was a nice pleasant work out to top off a nice pleasant day today. The kids woke me up which is always a treat. I got them off to school and then finished up some Christmas shopping. While I was at the store they got a shipment of Wii's. I bought one for a colleague at work who has been feverishly looking. Some times it is better to be lucky than good. I know I probably could have gotten a premium on E-Bay but it felt good to do something nice for someone. I went and got a haircut, worked out and finished off the day with a smoothie. Like I said a nice pleasant day.

No.
I'm on vacation. It's been shorts and Old Navy track pants all day. I'll get some after Christmas. I'm off until the 2nd.

What grip do you use on your seated rows, Gabe? All your numbers are looking great. This new big you is getting to be a strong mofo.

It was a neutral grip. The strength is coming up nicely. I'd like to do a max bench at some point just see how much if any I've moved up.
