Yeah, I know... It was weird. It was during the ab work after the quad work. I am not sure what that was about. I did not even really feel it coming on. I felt a bit out of whack but figured that was from taking 3 days off and coming back into it. I felt pretty strong during the squats but I really had to push myself. I was in the middle of the v-ups and I just had to barf. No, "I almost got sick" or "I felt nauseated". It was just there. Fortunately I was only a few yards from the ladies dressing room and I made it there. Then I stood there and tried to figure out what to do next. I still felt pretty strong so I got a drink and kept on doing my workout.
I was very depleted by the end of the workout. This morning the soreness in my quads actually woke me up and I am hobbling all over the house. Interestingly my hammies are also sore. I must've been doing the lunges really wide. Yeeeee owwwww. This one kicked ass.

You also had calf work right before, which isn't too metabolically disruptive. Weird!
And if you don't mind a thread hijack, can you explain why a lady who doesn't enjoy TV or movies has two projection setups in her house? I have a nice bigscreen TV and don't get cable, but we like to watch DVDs. Your situation, however, has me stumped!

Nice gains!
Hey, I say don't let Bally's chase you out -- you be the instigator of change at Bally's! Have your hardcore barf bucket at the ready. Dunno about bringing in porn to post on the walls, though.

It isn't that I do not enjoy movies. There are some that I do very much. But in the grand scheme of my life and its priorities, watching a movie is ususally way down on the list. My life is filled with passions that involve me being involved. I actively play and perform on classical guitar and promote the clasical guitar via several differnt programs. I am a classical music fan in general and spend many hours each month going to concerts or absorbing some new work. Tonight, in fact, I have a performance type party going on at my home. I have a farm with rescue horses (11 of them) and another property that I manage. I am a health consious person meaning I run, or lift or somthing like that also several hours each week and take the time to gain knowledge to continually improve this. I have two grown daughters and other family members to keep up with as well as a good number of wonderful friends here in Portland and all over the world. My real job is very consuming as I manage a program that is spread in many places all over the world and am held accountable to my company for this very high profile program. So where does sitting around watching a movie fit into this puzzle? I haven't really figured it out yet.
In fact sitting down to watch a movie can be quite a treat for me. I happn to also be a techno geek and have helped to write firmware code for projectors as well as audio and video codecs. I worked at InFocus for about 5 years recently and helped bring HD into the world. So when I sit to watch a movie I want the technology to be the best I can afford so that is the reason for the high end projection technologies. I put the one in my personal studio so that I could spin and watch movies and so that kids would have a place to watch cartoons away from the main part of the house. I rarely use that one outside of these occasions.
I also used to enjoy TV especially real TV and documentaries and that sort of thing. I just realized that too much of my time was spent in this sort of activity and at some point it all had to go away. Now it is hard for me to imagine going back to that sort of lifestyle where I sat and did nothing but be entertained for so many hours in a week. Since getting rid of the TV my life has been enhanced many times over. Nothing at all wrong with choosing to spend time in front of TV but for me it isn't even imagainable anymore.

I could just imagine the reaction by the guys if I did. Of course some of the girls might just well like the prorn that I bring in. In some ways I hate that I work in Ballys but so far it is less awful than the Y from what I can tell. My Gawd I so want to spend one week working out in RL's gym. What a crack up.

Come on over -- it won't be hard to prove the credibility of my Y stories!
And thanks for the explanation of the projection stuff; that makes sense. Very cool that you got to play a part in the rise of things at InFocus. And it's very good that you don't fit Nielsen's latest study that pegged the average daily American TV viewing at 4.3 hours per person. Yikes.

Wow, puking in the gym! You sure must have been challenging yourself!
You seem like a very busy lady. I always admire that! I would never be able to fit all those activities in 24 hours I think! If I manage to do my job, fit my workouts and French classes in, see my friends and family and keep the house a bit clean (and that 's the tricky part, household is my weak spot), I 'm a happy girl. There 's lots of stuff I would love to do and learn, but I never seem to find the time...

I don't know how hard I was working. I think that was a fluke. I really never felt bad.
Sounds to me like you are just as busy as I am. I too have so many other things I would love to do but can't find the time. This is why I do not watch movies or TV very much... (if at all)
