Macros for today:

Calories: 1776
Fat: 61
Carbs: 214
Protein: 108

No workout today. I think I have lost some pages from my pencil and paper gym log! That's what comes from schlepping it to and from the gym to post workouts! (My gym is in the basement.)

Default I must share...

I eat protein waffles for breakfast and lately I've been getting a bit bored with them so today I added some "no sugar added" peach butter that I bought and an Amish bakery. I put some cinnamon in and sweetened it with one level scoop of stevia (I use the KAL powder brand-no bad after taste, yummy!) Oh Wow! It tasted very, very much like peach cobbler! It was so good. My son says he has a new fave breakfast food!

Here is the recipe I use:
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
1 cup Egg Beaters
1-2 scoops vanilla protein powder
stevia

Mix it all up in the blender. I use 1/2 cup in my round waffle iron.

Why do you use egg beaters instead of straining eggs? I've seen the ingredient list and thought...

Try to use pure substances as much as possible, since this will give the least side-effects. Dunno if you have any allergy/sensitivity issues.. but that's a consideration of mine. It's got little to do with 'cleantardedness'

BTW, always feel "female apples of the world should unite their forces"

If only in being jealous of all those peargirls , who also unite in their envy of our lean arms & legs.
Our comfort: we look good in concealing clothes!
Their comfort: they look good naked as long as they hide their legs and even when they are fatter, they draw the men in droves".

Oh well. BTW, I keep my journalling data all in the puter. I should've kept a copy of my daily food journaling that I do in BLC, but they get erased every day after posting.
The workout data go into a huge spreadsheet and again the actual notes, get destroyed. I should keep a book with me, but my handwriting has deterioriated so much over the years, that it's painful to look at it... barely anything goes in the actual box written out neatly. So long ago, that my hand writing was impeccable

Espi you are so funny! I will definitely admit I have often thought why couldn't I have great legs and a chubby tummy. The chubby tummy would be easier to cover up. I guess we have to learn to play the cards we are dealt.

I had to laugh too Espi! Often envy the skinny-legged people too... My body is in proportion and my shape is quite feminine, but that means that the fat is everywere so rather difficult to cover up Just have to shrink a little

Wow... Really enlightening articles in this log. I need to make sure that I read it more often. I am curious to see how you decide to adjust your food intake now given all of this. It is hard on you mentally to do this switch. I am FINALLY starting to put weight on after weeks and weeks of eating as much as I can eat. To the point where I feel sick even. The body is a remarkable thing how it adapts.

Now get back into that gym and build ya some muscle.

Climban, that body shape of having fat distributed all over in equal parts is the best thing after sliced bread (and that's not even all that good!). You are going to look so absolutely awesome when you have lost the flab.

Everyone who's stuck as being an apple or pear will always be dissatisified about some body part that's still too fat or other parts that get too skinny when the abominable parts look good.
I've been told that actually only a tummy tuck will help me out to get everything in proportion. Nonetheless like a great example of mine (Fitwit knows who) I've decided to lean out as much as I can without looking really bad and then get my tummy tuck. Besides, the longer you wait, the more chance there is that excess skin will shrink.. still hasn't happened but someone can hope.

Hiya! I use egg beaters because I am lazy and hate to separate eggs. Haha! No, really! The Egg Whites I am using right now contain only egg whites, that is what the label says, anyway. Thankfully, I have no sensitivity issues. Seems like alot of people at BLC have health issues of one kind or another.

I agree 100% with your apple comments. I admire "pears" because they have a prayer of having flat stomachs. I can hide my flab more easily, though, but I would need a tummy tuck to have a flat tummy!

Someday, now this is MY idea, ladies, I want to design jeans to fit us, apples; larger in the waist and narrower in the hips. I have the worst time....if they fit in the waist they are HUGE through the hips! I will call them Apple Jeans!

Karla, it is hard on me, mentally, even thinking about lowering calories. I am not sure, yet, what I am going to do. My dh has been sick all week with a really bad ear infection and has been home. He hasn't missed work in 3 years and has let me wait on him and cook his breakfast, so I know he has really felt bad! Anyway, I get so lazy when he is home and haven't worked out since Monday! I am going down right now to rectify the matter. I can't wait to finish stage 1 and move on! Almost there!!

Glad you enjoyed the articles. When I find interesting stuff I put it here so I can find it again! My totally buff sil finds lots of stuff for me to read.

Thanks for stopping by Climban and Leah! Wish I had more time on the boards to read everyone's logs......I spend way too much time on the computer, anyway. I have a stack of good books beside me from the library! I need to read 'em. I like non-fiction because I'm on a self-improvement jag.

Okay, okay...gonna workout NOW!

Yep the one and only I from Atlanta: it's hard to find a finer example of someone who's patient with and kind to everyone and sets a great example for everyone on how to get ripped.

Default Worout and stuff

I have not worked out since Monday, 2/4! I have had the worst pms ever-for me, hormone hell, I tell ya! Each month is different for me. Some months are so mild TOM sneaks up on me (sorry to any guys reading.) Anyway, it has sure affected my motivation to work out. I dragged myself down to the gym today knowing I really needed a shot of endorphins!

So here is my workout:
Last workout A (my least favorite!)

Squats:
8x85x3
This was a big day for me! I went up 5 pounds and was able to do squats with the olympic bar as opposed to dumbbells! The sky is the limit now! Gonna try even more weight next time I do squats! The bar has been hurting my back where it rests.

Push-ups:
3x8 all on the floor-no incline!

Seated Row:
8x90x2
8x100x1 Yay! Another increase in weights!

Step-ups:
8X65X3 another 5 pound increase in weights and with the bar on my shoulders.

Prone Jack-knives:
3x5 Yea, well I never fell in love with these. Always hard so I proudly take the 3 sets of 5!

Hopefully, the endorphins with keep flowing throughout the day!

I still have not dropped my calories significantly. I'm gonna look at the numbers today.

Except that you're an apple and I'm a pear, seems like we are sisters in the last week hormone thing. However, I haven't been blessed with a sneak up on me mild TOM since mine went out of whack. Workout A was my least favorite too.

Congratulations on your successes with this workout.
