Doing ok so far - I've posted a note in my journal, but since you asked here... After every new workout we've done, particularly yesterday's, I've had DOMS in multiple parts of my body. I had my doubts after the first session but the second made me much more disposed to see how things will unfold.

I saw your journal, and your post. Seems like you're liking the personal trainer and the new stuff he's having you do. I just posted here since you were here...I didn't post there because it seems like you always have plenty of company offering advice or support, didn't think you needed my two.

I'm reminded of a bit (paraphrased) from Alice in Wonderland...

Queen of Hearts: "You will speak only when spoken to!"
Alice: "What if everyone did that?"

The more the merrier says I. Besides it looks like you're doing well with your trainer as well. It's reading stuff like that that made me get a PT in the first place.

Tom, you always have the best quotes!

Good workout, Deb. And, I agree with Tom. Never too much company when it comes to supporting each other, ya know?

Ok, not sure how to take that. Virtual confusion on my part. I do post to your log, quite frequently! Sorry. I guess the same goes for me, in regards to why I got myself a personal trainer.

What I meant was, if everyone stopped posting because they saw other people posting to whomever's log, then eventually nobody would post to it at all. (If you can parse that out lol.) I was referencing this line...

Never meant to imply that you never post to my log - just if you feel like posting then post, no matter how many others are doing the same.

Warmup mobility exercises, foam rolling. 5-10 minutes.

NROL Hypertrophy I, Workout #3
Saturday December 28th, 2007

All exercises are 4 sets, 10 reps, normal tempo, rest 60

Superset with full rest
Dumbell incline bench press
Set 1 25 x 10
Set 2 25 x 10
Set 3 30 x 10
Set 4 30 x 10

Cable seated row
Set 1 8.0 plate x 10
Set 2 8.5 plate x 10
Set 3 8.5 plate x 10
Set 4 8.5 plate x 10

Superset with full rest
Dumbell shoulder press
Set 1 20 x 10
Set 2 20 x 10
Set 3 25 x 10
Set 4 25 x 10

Wide grip lat pulldown
Set 1 8.0 plate x 10
Set 2 8.0 plate x 10
Set 3 8.5 plate x 10
Set 4 8.0 plate x 10 (form)

Superset with full rest
Close grip bench press
Set 1 65 x 10
Set 2 65 x 10
Set 3 65 x 10
Set 4 70 x 10

High pull
Set 1 59 x 10
Set 2 64 x 10
Set 3 64 x 10
Set 4 64 x 10

Thoughts:
Nothing new today. This workout is easier than workout B, that is fo' sho'! The only thing was on the close grip press, I had to stop after 7 reps on the last set, rested 15secs, then finished the last 3. Also, there isn't one person I asked at the Y who knows what those plates weigh on the lat pulldown machine. Anyone know?

Tomorrow is a rest day. Have a good weekend. Go Pats!
