Yeah sometimes balancing it all is tough, but we do what we can. We aren't professionals here, missing a workout from time to time is acceptable and isn't going to hurt you in the long run.
Keep it up man, it looks to me like you are doing a great job.

Me neither. It's after work or not at all. I've started to be able to break away on the weekend now that football season is over for my son but soon baseball will start up and all that will be gone.

I've gone in phases where I wake up at 4:45 and be at the gym by 5. I get thrown off when my times change, I remember last Daylight Savings time in the spring is when my wheels fell off, I just couldn't wake up anymore and worked in the AM and went to class in the PM. No kids yet but in a few years I'm sure that will be another dilemma.

No, me neither Jamie. I started going in the evening because they were usually in bed or almost in bed by that time. Now that they're older, not so much. But I'm an evening person anyway, so this seems to work best for me.
Gabe - I knew you weren't hassling me. But your note was a good reminder to revisit priorities from time to time. Thanks.

Comments: Felt strong and made good increases throughout the workout today. I've pulled something in my neck though - it's really sore when I look right .... hard to do shoulder checks in the car. I hope that it's short-term. The squats were kind of ugly as to form here and there. I really do hate them.

Okay, Rob, cut it out.
The red is hurting my eyes.
Nice work, my friend.

Thanks, all. The neck is still stiff and sore - not horrible but .... well .... a pain in the neck!! I made an appointment to see my chiropractor/ART specialist tomorrow afternoon. I hope that fixes it up.
