Good luck on stage II. King's workouts keep you so off balance and emphasize support muscles to the extent that you aren't able gauge strength gains until after the program.

Thanks, guys. Interesting comment, Greg. So there's a method to his madness then?

BOM Intermediate - Week 7 - Rest Week

October 23/07

Cardio: Stationary bike - 15 minutes (random program at level 9); StairMaster - 15 minutes (hill program at level 12 (highest)) = TOTAL: 30 mins

15 minutes of MM mobility work and stretching.

Sciatica is feeling MUCH better. It's not perfect but it's definitely on the mend. I'm glad I have this rest week for sure at this time. It's worked out perfectly rehab-wise.

Thanks, Jamie. I'm pretty pumped that I'm on the mend so soon. In the past, it's been a 6 week process with ART. This time I'm almost right at under a week. Must have only slightly tweaked it.

It's been hard not lifting this week. It's funny how much of a habit it becomes. Back to it tomorrow - looking forward to the iron!

After a couple weeks of not lifting, you really fall into other habits.

No, Jim, I meant that over the past few years lifting has become a habit for me. At least a couple evenings a week, I pack my gymbag and head out for my evening workout. It was weird staying at home every night this past week. Very weird.
