Wow. 100 pushups is bordering on obsessive. You just decided you HAD to do 50 more than Mahler?

Dunno. Just felt like doing them. And they were not that bad. I should do them more ...

Today, I did nothing .... except eat and drink and eat and drink... with the occasional chocolate bunny thrown in ... I love Easter.

lol at the choc. bunny.

after eating very badly yesterday, I told my mother that I think Easter is evil which drew a nasty glare. I quickly followed up with the explanation that I was referencing only the food not the holiday!

Yeah, more or less. I knew I wouldn't be working out so I thought I'd knock out some pushups ... and just kept going ... of course they weren't 100 straight! 30-30-30-10

NROL Fat Loss I, Workout A-5

Superset (with full rest)

Goblet Squat w/ DB (in lieu of back squat)
3X10 @ 80 DB

Cable Seated Row
3X10 @ 160

Superset (with full rest)
Supine Hip Extension
25, 30, 30

DB Push Press
3X10 @ 45s

Superset (with full rest)
Rotational Lunge
3X10 @ 25s

Swiss Ball Crunch
3X10 @ 35

Comments: I am sure liking the 10-rep sets a lot better than the 15s or 12s, but the 45 second RIs are kind of ugly. The heart is definitely pumping. Threw the rotational lunges back in but kept the weight the same as the last time I did them with the unfortunate "snap". All was well today, thank goodness. Good workout though - with the slightly lower reps, the weights all went up across the board. Sciatica's not completely gone but with mobility work and stretching, it's not really causing me any grief to speak of. Weight is hanging around the 178 mark. 3 more workouts to go ... need to start thinking ahead as to the next workout plan ...

Good job, rob. I thought the push press was impressive. But maybe cause I'm a push press weakling.

Another Non-NROL Lunchtime Workout

StairMaster 10 minutes
Miscellaneous back/hip exercises recommended by physio
Superset 1:
Preacher curl: 3X10 @ 68
Triceps Pushdown with Rope: 3X10 @ 20kg
Superset 2:
Chinup (with hold 1/2 way up and down): 1X8
Dips: 1X8

Meant to do 3 sets of the second superset but ran out of time. Had to get to a meeting.

LOL. I thought I heard my name.

Nice going, Rob. Sometimes you just have to do something different.

Go through a phase of NROL and then go back and do it. My second round with that was cake compared to the first.

Of course, now that I think about it, I should've taunted you mercilessly. It's not like you could've caught me

Nice work, Rob.

How do you like those Bulgarian split squats? Never tried them myself.
