I think they're "quick"....no individual packages or anything. Cardboard tube type container. All I know is that they were good...and there will be more tomorrow!

1/2 a supreme pizza....still compliant . There's a 1/4 of a dutch apple pie in my future...not sure what the last 200 calories will be. Think, think, think.

I am falling apart! I will regroup tomorrow. Maybe Monday. Things are bad. Went to the cider mill with the family today (it's a midwestern fall thing) and ate fresh cider and warm donuts (mmmmmmm) and I may have had some peanut brittle.

Not necessarily - apple festival locally and I know there's a cider mill in NY state I'd like to try... (after I'm done with low-carbing it of course)

Ended up not getting all my protein in last night. I wasn't hungry.

cider (REAL cider) is freaking delicious. There's an apple orchard near where I grew up that'd sell it and in Rio Grande Ohio there's the original Bob Evans farmstead which hosts an apple festival ever year where you can get cider icee's, mulled, funnel cakes...freaking awesomeness.

What do we have 2 more weeks? Tina's still going strong. The rest of us can yank our heads clean and be strong for a couple more right?!!

Pie = not nearly as good as I was hoping
Beer = pretty darn tasty...if I could go back I'd trade that pie for three more

My plan sucks as laid out. Too oriented to days of the week. But, with training and an almost random kid schedule, that has to change.

My regrouping (coming soon) will include a more "task oriented" diet plan. Did I lift today? Did I run today? Did I sit on my ass?

I think.

I am still on, but my weight is all over the frickin place. I'm going to calorie cycle now that I believe I'm fully fat adapted. The overall scheme is like so:

Average calories, overall: 1900-2000

M: 1600
T: 1800
W: 1900
Th: 1500 (this is an off day for me)
F: 1700
S: 2500
S: 2300

The S/S are still the high carb days.

I find it ridiculously easy to eat this way. The only problem is, for me this does seem to be anabolic. I'm definitely putting on something here, and I believe it's primarily muscle. I do think that I need to very slightly cut my calories; the 2K average will decrease my calories overall by like 1300/week or so. Not much, but I have a feeling the cycling will make a bit of difference.

With my perpetual mind-fuck with the scale, I am really pleased that I am not freaking out with the fluctuations. Add being a chick to the weekly swing and it's a recipe for a meltdown. I will reevaluate this coming weekend, but I can guarantee that I am not going to be the person who lost the most, despite my compliance. However, I am very happy with my state of mind, so to me, that is a win.

OK you other losers, where the hell are you?

It's a marathon, not a sprint, if I may be so trite...

This is why I freak out on the 12x TBW schemes. I know you eat more on lifting days, but once I feel deprived, it's like someone takes over my mouth and hands at some point to shovel in shit I normally wouldn't look at.

Man, I miss the cider mill, though! Which one did you go to? Paint Creek? Nothing like a good glass of cider and a cake donut. Mmmmmm... now if only the yellowjackets weren't all over the orchards when the season is in full swing..

Mmmmm...

Quote:
Tangerine Olive Oil

Our Tangerine Olive Oil is made using the same olives used in our signature Pasolivo EVOO. We blend oil distilled from Tangerine peels directly with our Pasolivo to create a gorgeous oil for salad dressings, for drizzling on BBQ or on pork chops. Our favorite way to use it is still the easiest: use it instead of vegetable oil in your next batch of brownies!
I'll skip that last little part... For now.

I'm back on the horse tomorrow. Same plan but less attention to macros. Mostly trying to eat enough protein and calorie cycle but worry about carbs/fat afterwards. I will also try to up my fruit and veggie intake.

I'm really in a weird place for me. I don't care whether or not I eat. I am eating to support my activity, but I'm not even excited at the thought of a cheat meal.

food=fuel

That's a GOOD thing, Paula!

Today and yesterday were uber compliant. I forced down 2400 cals yesterday and 2200 today, macros were all spot on.

There is some NASTY jello pudding out there--has anyone ever had the choco/mocha one? It might be mochaccino, hell, I dunno. There is this awful bitter chemical taste to the mocha part of it, blecccch!

I made some sunflower nut butter cookies today with wheat pcake flour and oats. OMFG yum! I liked them (made a total of 3 small cookies) more than the PB ones I made last weekend.

Misses: spinach ravioli. Ick. Seeded ciabatta for my grilled cheese--the herbed one I had last weekend rocked. This one was just kinda funny-tasting.

I did discover a great new find, though. There is a sugar free, calorie free chai tea concentrate sweetened with splenda; you add it to milk for a chai tea latte. I bought some unsweetened almond milk (40 whopping calories/cup). Not bad!
