No problem Tom, I am always happy to help! What good is my education if I don't use it to help people?

Well, it would be nice to charge for it, but I find that hard over the internet ... that's what in-person clients are all about!!
I have not heard from Victoria ... I think I have her work email somewhere ... I'll drop her a line ... if not, then I have her cell number and I'll call her this weekend ...

Thanks Jamie ... things are getting better slowly around here ... my routine is all out of whack having my hubby home during the days though!
I have heard from Victoria, she is swamped at work since some people didn't pick up the slack while she was away ...
So, I have been nursing a sinus infection for the past couple of weeks (stiff neck, headaches, dizziness, and sensitivity in my maxillary teeth) ... finally went to the doc yesterday and am now on amoxicillin. Feeling better, but still don't have my good energy back.
The gluten-free/casein-free experiment is going well ... I think that the casein-free would be hard to maintain long-term ... I use dairy as my protein usually twice a day! But the gluten-free is going well. I think I am feeling a bit better, but the timing with the sinus-infection muddies the water a bit. A few more weeks will be a better test.
Also planning to get back on the wagon regarding my workouts, starting Monday (because I'm anal like that ... I just HAVE to start a new program on Mondays!) ... I'll post details when I get it all together ... it is just for workouts as my diet is set.

You're not the only one. Actually Mondays are always the busiest days in any gym. You'd actually be smarter to start on Sunday or Tuesday
Glad to hear things are improving on all fronts, except for the infection. Yesterday I had corn snacks and it had milk powder as one of the ingredients. Sure enough I'm sniffing today as I'm always doing after having had dairy.

OMG....so do I...that's partly why I've been stalling on getting my butt in gear again. I just can't start on new program mid-week. That's not how the world is organized!
Julie, it seems like things are settling back in for you after your rough patch (except for the infection now, of course). Just keep hanging in there. You are one strong woman!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only anal one about dates and things. I planned my 3 months of HELL to start on October first so that the day of the program and the date would match. Weird, huh?!
Good luck with the sinus infection and starting on Monday!!

I'm anal like that, too. Only I wanted to start early, so I worked backwards in my new program so I started with Workout C, today. On monday, I'm all set for Workout A!

The game was wicked awesome (how's that for a New England phrase for you?!)!! It poured rain on us the first half ... we got there just at the start of the game since I had to work in the morning (saw two clients and did paperwork from 7:30-2:30. I wore a turtleneck, a wool sweater, jeans, wool socks, and my winter boots. Topped it off with my old goretex jacket (which absorbs water after a period of time). Then crowned it with a big clear plastic drum-liner trash bag into which I cut a neck hole and two arm holes. It came down to my ankles, which was great because I stayed totally dry everywhere. And it wasn't too cold out when it was raining ... maybe 65 degrees. It was fun actually! And the game was phenomenal! I had not been to Rentschler Field before ... nice stadium ... not a bad seat in the house. And I avoided all the gluten-infested food!! Matt took me out for sushi afterward (at Ginza in Bloomfield -- YUMMY!) where he had steak.
So, ended up doing nothing yesterday ... I am going to need to do my weight workouts on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday. There is just no way around it with our schedule on Monday/Wednesday/Friday ... so I'll save those days for yoga. I had slept on the sofa Sunday night due to the snoring, so getting up super-early to workout wasn't happening after my poor night's sleep. Sigh. But here is today's workout ...
Extensive Dynamic Warm-Up: about 15 minutes including mobility and activation stuff
Supersets with 1 minute rest between sets
1A Inverted Rows 2x8 @ bodyweight
1B 1-leg deadlift 2x8 each with 8kg KB
2A DB step up 2x8 each leg on 10" step with 15# DBs
2B SB Ab Crunch 2x12 with 8# med ball
3A SB Jackknife 2x8
3B SHELC 2x12
Stretching of quads, hip flexors, hamstrings, adductors, calves, piriformis after.
Sweaty. Shaky. All is good!
