Miss you Tina!!

Espi, glad you are sticking with it ... the rewards will be there after you put in the time! I think it's addictive ...

Great dinner tonight ... I had lobster (with butter), wild rice, and broccoli. YUM!! Matt had steak (medium rare) with sauteed mushrooms and onions, broccoli, garlicky steak "fries" (baked in the oven), garlic bread on a crusty baguette, and for dessert ... whoopie pies!! He is a happy man!!

Planning to sleep late in the morning ... then some yoga and elliptical ... then planting those bulbs. I have to pick up the kids at 4:00 ... hope to get some reading time in too ...

Oh yea ... and I got my hair cut today ... it's pretty short!! I'll try to take a picture tomorrow ...

Have a fun day off, Julie. I'm taking tomorrow off of school. Have to work in the morning but may take the kiddos to a movie in the early afternoon.

Well ... I have a great new workout plan from Leigh ... but I've been sick since Sunday. BAH. I hate this time of year for the leaf mold ... it just kills me.
Eats have sucked the past few days too. Bah.

Tomorrow is another day.

Hi Julie,
What type of problems do you get with leaf mould? I normally get sinus problems, but have found homeopathic tablets that work a treat on that and hayfever.
Hope you are feeling better!

Sorry about you being sick.

What's wrong with the eats? NO appetite , too much of it or just the wrong macros?

Thanks guys ... I'm not sure I'm looking good with the big bags under my eyes!!

What happens is that my body fights the ragweed and leaf mold pretty well, but then a virus will come around (inevitable with 2 small children) and I just can't fight it. That's been the pattern since I had mono at age 15. And my sinuses don't drain well (probably small holes or something since the steroid sprays don't even help) ... so yes, I end up with a sinus infection. I think I'm fighting it pretty well thus far, but truly only time will tell. Today I am just still achy everywhere ...

Judy, what is the name of the homeopathic stuff? I'd love to find something that works!

Espi, just not hitting my targeted calories mostly ... I just can't track when I'm sick ... not enough energy or dedication/drive. BAH.

Gotta go get Michaela on the bus ...

Busy day today ...

Planted over 100 bulbs ... with Hayley's "help". Lots and lots of ATG bodyweight squatting.

Cleaned out my perennial and vegetable gardens. I am still harvesting produce ... kale, broccoli, swiss chard, and brussel sprouts. YUM. But I removed my soaker hoses and tomato cages in preparation for Matt rototilling sometime in the next month.

Decorated the outside of the house for Halloween. Ghosts ... cobwebs ... spiders ... oh my!! And we have plans for a scarecrow on our bus-waiting bench! This weekend we'll go get pumpkins and such. I'm not in a hurry after hearing from several friends that the squirrels have eaten their pumpkins this year. Apparently there are reduced numbers of acorns/nuts this year for some reason, so the squirrels are eating anything they can get their little hands on.

Took a nice long hot bath. Foam rolling. Stretching. Planning my food for tomorrow, then I'm hitting the hay.
