Great news for Matt, Julie! I'm sure that if he can get into a routine of running/exercise, it will help him in many other ways (other than fat loss), too. Yeah!

Glad you are feeling better, too. Have a great day with the girls.

Yea ... I work really hard to not nag ... no one likes to be told what to do, you know? Plus as someone who was a confirmed bachelor for so long, Matt is particularly resistant to it. I just offer, then sit back. Sometimes it takes a long time ... and others not so much. But I'm hoping he'll stick to it since he's had a few wake-up calls in the past year.

Had a spectacular day today ... went to this local park a few towns over. It's town owned, but you'd think it was a great museum ... the Tobacco Museum is there along with a nature center, an animal barn, a sugar shack (not in operation this time of year much to Michaela's dismay!!), a great playground, picnic tables, and many miles of relatively easy hiking (ie not a lot of elevation change). We went for a nice hike ... then hit the playground for a bit ... then had a picnic lunch ... visited the animals ... and went home exhausted. Well, we hit the grocery store first ... then home!!

Exhausted this morning! And somehow tweaked my hip ... seems to be a trigger point in my glute medius, so I hope to work it out later. Plan to do some yoga too ... was going to lift, but don't think it's a good idea when I feel that physical exhaustion. Yoga will be good though. And laundry. And cleaning.

New low this morning ... down another 1/2 lb. Yay!

I did something weird, too. My hip flexors (in the p____ line arena) are pretty tender the last two days and my glutes get a weird hitch every once in a while when I first start walking after sitting a while. It's like my left cheek freezes and I take a few steps like Festus before working it out. I hope chicks dig Festus.

I'm sure it was the db snatches and cleans from the other day. Yet, I'm looking forward to more!

Ha!

Well, I did some trigger point massage to my glute while waiting for the bus and it's gone. The UPS guy looked at me a little strangely, but what the heck!! Maybe you need to get on that foam roller later?!

Still no workouts for me ... I've been sleeping 9+ hours each night and waking exhausted. Leigh said that if I am still that tired it's probably not a good idea for me to workout. But I can if I feel up to it. The scale is still moving down though ... 158.8 this morning!

My new job at work starts tonight ... I'll be doing some group personal training ... should be fun ... I'm a bit keyed up over it as some VIPs have enrolled. Like our CFO, his wife, and her boss!! I'm well prepared though, so it's all good!

Dude, have a super great time! I'm certain you're a great teacher!! Maybe you'll get a raise with the CFO!!! But there's probably a delicate balance between making him/her feel like their working but allowing them to be able to move in the morning! Good luck with that!!!
