This was yesterday's workout ...

"Wake Up Julie"

Elliptical x 10 minutes

Foam Rolling: feet, calves, glutes, quads, TFL, adductors, hams, T-Spine, upper traps

Warm-Up: Arm Claps, Stick Ups, Incline Push Ups, TTSS, Leg Lowering

*2x10 each except where noted
*90 second rest periods

1. Step Ups: 14", 10# dbs
2. Band Rows: purple
3. NG Shoulder Press: 12# dbs
4. Lying Hip ABduction with Band: yellow
5. Bird Dog holds, switching every 30 seconds: 2x2 minutes

Stretching: calves, quads, hip flexors, hams, adductors, glutes/piriformis

Then this morning, I did more foam rolling and a 20-minute yoga class ... mostly a Sun Salutation vinyasa deal ... felt GREAT!!

Just got back from a hike with the kiddos ... about 2 miles ... fun stuff!

Worked all weekend ... it was nice to be "needed" by other adults ... I am really enjoying being back to work.

And .....
the best news .....

160.0 this morning.

Thanks guys ... 159.8 this morning!!!

Planning a workout ... and lots of laundry!

I went shopping yesterday ... the pants I wore to work on Saturday were just ridiculous ... they kept falling down and were about 2 inches too long (Matt wondered if I shrunk!!). So I went yesterday and got 2 new pairs of pants and 1 pair of jeans. ALL SIZE 10!!!!! Yay!!!

Eh ... 20ish pounds ... I'll get down to 140 and see from there if I need more. I know after my divorce I got down to 130 but felt like I looked all skin and bones ... I have no desire to look like that. Plus I carry more muscle now. And I don't want to struggle to maintain. 140 has traditionally been fairly easy for me to maintain (ie all through college and my 20s/early 30s). I honestly have no desire to see visible abs, nor veins in my arms ... I just want to be comfortable in a bathing suit, have a lot less jiggle on my belly, and wear size 6/8.

Off to workout.
