Julie - first, what a great new picture, very cool with the shades. I think we're all getting tired of the rain this summer, but I know it's worse for you because this was supposed to be a fun time in the outdoors. Take a break if you need it and I do hope that you get a little sun (and not on the drive home)!

Great picture!
The dreams are tough. I don't know of a good way to deal with them because I have the same sorts of dreams. Just try to do something that makes you feel better.
Have you ever tried directed dreams?

Julie,
I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for your advice and encouragement in the last 6 months. I feel fantastic-- like I am *almost* there-- honestly, far better than I ever imagined I could, and I'm thrilled. Your advice, both in my log and in my old injury thread was really helpful, especially in the vein of keeping me honest, and keeping my expectations realistic, which is not something I am wont to do. Thank you.
Your new avitar is a beautiful pic, by the way! Sorry about all your rain; normally I would empathize, being from Seattle and all, but people around here are starting to complain about the heat!

Good to see that you're back. Did you get a few days of sun before you left?

Thanks guys ... yes, a few days of sun ... and it was beautiful here today ... sunny and 75. Almost cold in the house and cold last night for sure!!
Busy busy busy ... leaving tomorrow at 3:00ish to go to Boston for Gray Cook's Functional Movement Screen on Friday and Saturday. Staying with my cousin and his wife ... they're great and they eat healthy so that won't be an issue. I also plan to bring all my daytime food. When I went up for Perform Better's LBD Seminar a year ago February, there was no where to eat. So I plan on coming prepared this time!!
Leigh's not happy with me ... ... things will be changing!! But it's good ... now that I am home it is so much easier to get into a routine, especially once the girls start school. Planning on hitting the elliptical again in the morning. Or maybe I'll don my rollerblades and go for a spin ...
