Went for an energizing 30 minute bike ride this morning, then came home and did some foam rolling and stretching. Felt great.

On the way back from picking the girls up from day camp, on our dirt road, my front drivers-side tie rod broke and my car skidded off the road and into a deep ditch. Needless to say, it was stuck. At that time I didn't know that the tie rod was broken and couldn't figure out why/how I ended up off the road!! As we were walking the 1.5 miles back to our cabin, a nice man in a pickup stopped and gave us a ride. The flatbed came and took it away after Matt towed it out of the ditch with his truck and we realized that the steering was broken (ie the tie rod). My poor baby!! I love my truck despite her poor gas mileage!! Hopefully I'll get her back tomorrow ... and ... we're all okay.

Yeah, I'm thinking walking for the rest of the week might be your best bet.

Glad you're okay though, and I understand completely about loving your old gas guzzler. I can't afford to replace mine anyway, but ouch it hurts at the pump. The only good thing at the moment is it's not that often.

my theory is that nutbar's cloud of clumsiness (and other luck related auspices), being bored by her sitting around all day trying not to puke, has blown eastward and is currently hovering over NH, occasionally touching down in Julie's vicinity

course it could just be the weather

Well, nothing exciting to report from yesterday ... spent the morning shopping and the afternoon cleaning and the evening cooking!! I love having houseguests!! Seriously, I do ... I'm a Martha-wannabe at heart.

My car has been fixed!! Yay!! And it only cost $350

Thanks for all your well-wishes ... Roland, you're a putz. But I promise no more mishaps ... but I am starting to wonder if I should just stop driving!! This is number three for the year, so it must be the last one!!

New low weight this am ... the fluid is slowly disappating, but my rings are still tight in the am.

Well, it WAS, but you just couldn't leave well enough alone and jinxed it. Don't worry, Murphy will find you again…

"Waiting to Ovulate"
Sounds like a bad Lifetime movie.
