A workout ...
Courtesy of TRX ... outside slung around a tree. Ergo, unlevel ground. Heh.
Assisted Pistol Squat: 3x4 each
Row: 3x8
Suspended Lunge (sort of like a BSS): 2x8 each
Push Up: 3x8
Suspended Pike: 3x6
90 second rest in between sets/exs.
Started to bonk on the lunges, so cut out the last planned set.
STARVING after this workout. A bit sweaty. Definitely had the shakes.
Oh, and no calorie count on workouts for now since the battery in my HRM watch died. Sigh. I printed all the stuff to send it off to Polar tomorrow. At least I'll have my BodyBugg by Friday.
It's raining ... BAH. We're considering a movie this afternoon ... Wall E or Kung Fu Panda. We'll see ...

I'm sure I'll do something like that. Wait until class and find some other poor sucker that needs to escape for the weekend.

You're just having entirely too good a time up at the lake! Enjoy it.
Interesting discussion about adrenal fatigue (or whatever it's called). I'm learning a lot.

I'm a little behind but OMG on your daughter!!! I'm glad she's ok!!!
My DD quit biking for 5 years because she went out with my DH and DS... DS was (in DH's opinion) going to get backed over by a car leaving a driveway, so DH leapt off his own bike (moving) and tackled DS. Both came home bloody, DD was terrified... ugh!!!

Not much to report ... but I did get myself a BodyBugg!! According to the shipping info, it should be here next Friday! Whoooop!!

I highly recommend any of the big museums ... and the White House tour is pretty cool too. Of course the last time I went was 1985 ...

Yes, I am!! Tonight I was ready to either strangle one of them (or both) and/or have a stiff shot of something ... but I settled for sending them off to bed and some 'puter time. And probably a chick flick in a little while!!

Yea ... I made her get right back on the bike. A hold over from lifeguarding ... we always stayed in the water and "played" with any kids we rescued, so that they wouldn't be so traumatized and never want to go near the water again. So I made her ride again, and she was fine after about 5 minutes. I plan to take them to the rail-trail sometime this week to ride some more. Conveniently, the laundromat is right on the trail, so we can kill two birds with one stone!!
No, I did not get the digital display ... maybe down the road I will, but for now, not.
Ravenous. I haven't been lifting much in recent weeks so I had forgotten that. At least Leigh planned that lifting days I get more calories ... whoot.
We watched Shrek II this afternoon ... we owned it but had never watched it. The girls saw Shrek for the first time a few weeks ago, so it was perfect. I also now have Shrek III on my Netflix list. Probably going to watch Definitely, Maybe tonight ... and do some foam rolling and stretching during ... my glutes are already getting sore!!

Since DH and I don't have children, I get all of these from my Blockbuster online membership.......lol I loved all the Shrek movies. There is so much adult humor hidden in those movies, it's amazing.
I also have Definitely, Maybe and will be watching that one tonight, too.

Julie, that is SO smart! How I wish that would have been done with me. So, now, here I am STILL with a fear of being underwater! The one goal of mine I still haven't tackled.

The girls started camp this morning ... I was a little worried about Hayley, but since the teacher is her beloved Godmother, Kelly, she did fine!
I took my young friend Dylan (Kelly's son -- age 12) on an errand to his school, then he and I went and did a Valley Quest ... it's what they call letterboxing up here. It was way fun!! Kelly had given me a book on it for my birthday with lots of adventures of all lengths and difficulties. Pretty cool.
Probably going to hit the laundromat this afternoon. There is a rail trail that runs by it so we'll bring the girls' bikes, and walk along behind them. So, lots of activity today!! Still holding lots and lots of water. Leigh thinks my sodium/potassium levels are actually too low ... working on correcting. Bah.

Ha! Nah ... I got some of that "No Salt" stuff ... GAK. I'm used to nice expensive French sea salt ... this has that nice chemically taste. Bah. Oh well, if it helps drop this bazillion pounds of water I am carrying I'll try anything!!! My wedding band is so tight I can barely stand it, yet my favorite shorts are falling off. My toes are swollen.
Went for a nice solo hike this morning to a place called Boston Lot Lake. I did the Lakeview trail. Nice singletrack through varied forest with lake views. Nice. According to this weekend's newspaper, there are apparently sometimes naked gay men running through the woods, but alas, I did not encounter any.
1 hour and 10 minutes. Mild sweatiness. No HRM ...
Going to do some stretching later ... three days until my BodyBugg arrives!!

Alas? ALAS!?! After having seen waaaay too many men be waaay too prideful in my youth, I shudder at the idea of those men actually naked. *retch*
