My older daughter and I both loved Enchanted ... my little one was scared of the wicked stepmother (Susan Sarandon's character) who was a little scary to be honest. Of course, I knew it is a fairy tale, and therefore had a "happily ever after" story! We'll get the Waterhorse for sure ... my older daughter is starting to like movies that are not all animated, which is very cool.
On a similar note, I got us tickets today to The Backyardigans -- LIVE!! It is the first weekend in June and my daughters are going to go BALLISTIC!!! Should be fun!

Enjoy it while you can - that window of daughters wanting to see movies with you that aren't cartoons is pretty narrow - my DD won't be seen in public with me now. I'm "embarrassing" , and if I take her (and her friend) to a movie, they want to sit in a separate row . Now that she has her license, so I don't see her much anyway ... She's a great kid, but the teen years are... interesting...

Bytsi, true, but I think I have a few years as they are only 3 and 4!
Jamie, we went to Elmo and Diego and loved both of them. This is going to be great because I love the Backyardigan's music ... should be a blast!
Workout:
elliptical x 45 minutes
~350 calories
average HR 128
Also, I forget to post it, but lots of foam rolling and stretching before/after.

Julie..............I loved Enchanted! To be honest, I just have to see McSteamy in anything that he puts out. **Insert drooling smiley, here**
I don't have any kids of my own (just the 21 at school which I claim as my own.....lol) so, I don't get to go to the theaters to see these movies. Instead.......Blockbuster Online has been my friend......lol I rent these movies all of the time. Have you seen/watched Alvin and the Chipmunks? It was too cute.

Thanks Julie for answering me in Traceys journal LOL! You KNOW exactly my issues. I'll have to become a short order cook. Yup the pasta rice potato thingy too. I did cook up a batch of brown rice and divvey it up and freeze portions for those days where I didn't want to cook separate. My schedule with bfast and lunch sound the same also. So if you can do it, I can do it. Period. I am at home also since I work at home. Sometimes it is easier and sometimes it is harder when you work from home.
I did get scale right after Leigh's video. It is awesome. I was doing what you said you to with tare also. I think I still have to really fiddle with my cals. I need to read those books asap.
Alvin and the Chipmunks were SO CUTE. We watched the waterhorse this weekend. My DD thought it was real. She was really confused. Hard to explain the effects these days ya know?

Yet-to-be-breeders, don't let her scare ya. Kids are the best thing ever invented. Plus making them is pretty fun, too.

No problem Kelly ... once you get used to thinking that way about family style meals, it is really not a big deal. I finally realized that just because I made a dish, didn't mean I had to eat it. Or conversely that just because I couldn't eat something, that my family couldn't. Many nights we all eat the same things ... but other nights I just make two starchy side dishes and the same protein and veggies for all. I also tend to make a lot of "Planned Overs" for me for lunch. So I'll grill extra chicken or fish and plan to eat it the next day in my lunch. Or I'll make extra veggie and it will go into an omelette the next morning.

Amen sister!!
Well, I was supposed to do a resistance workout yesterday, but didn't do it ... instead I spent 4 hours cleaning my stye of a house! Dusted, vacuumed, mopped, scrubbed bathrooms, etc. I was too exhausted after and hadn't really slept the night before since I was up with Hayley.
Aunt Flo arrived today along with a 0.6 lb water whooosh. Oh joy.
Planning a cardio session later today. Along with plenty of mobility. My lower back is killing me. Bah.
