Thanks guys!
Down some more this morning ... crazy!!

Today's workout ... I finally got to see last week's LOST ... on the elliptical x 45 minutes, average HR 124, ~370 calories.

Two firsts today ...

I WENT TO TEAVANA!!!!!
OMG ... I freakin' spent $70 and still didn't buy all the teas I wanted to try!! Ahh ... an excuse to go back!!

I also went to Trader Joe's ... it was very cool and I wish there was one closer to my house. The prices are phenomenal!!!

Food has been on target ...

Trader Joe's is quirky - no I didn't say Karky - some of their stuff is great, and at great prices, a lot is close to frankenfood. But it always is fun to go their, and I wish we had one close by.

Great workout, Julie!

Wooooooo Hoooooooo on going to Teavana!!! I told the girl on the phone yesterday (when I was ordering MORE tea) that we need one close to my home in PA. She just laughed. I guess it's a good thing we don't have one because I'd be broke.

And.........We don't have a Trader Joe's either........so, I guess I'm saving even MORE money.....lol

Just not feeling it today ...
Sort of have a headache, I feel nauseated, and at rest during this workout was diaphoretic (and not from the workout). Not sure what is up. I suspect allergies since the tree pollen count is very high and I woke up with lots of gunk in my throat. Meh.

Mobility: 10 minutes of stuff to warm up my arms and hips mostly along with some lower back and core stuff

Rack Pull: No rack 45# 2x12 (sort of like a hang start, but not quite an RDL as my knees were bent more like in a rack pull).
*My stupid rack doesn't have holes low enough to do proper rack pulls. I've been making do with a couple of plastic bins, but when I set the bar across them this morning, they crumpled. Sigh. I'll have to ask Leigh for a substitution as I can't think of another run-around with my rack.
TGUs: 8#, 1x6 each, 1x3 each.
*Felt like puking here, so I stopped shy of the 6 reps on the second set.
Lat Pulldown: 60# 2x12
Lateral Raises: 12#DBs, 2x12
Incline DB Press: 15# 2x12
Overhead Tricep Press: none
Side Plank: none
Superman: none

*Stopped after the Incline DB Presses as I was really feeling poorly.

Including warmup ~41 minutes and 200 calories.
Blah.

Oh yeah, and pictures from my hike!

This is the view from when you first reach the top of the ridge and come out of the woods.

Mostly in the fall, there are lots of hanggliders that launch from here ... this is their launching place ...

Another view along the ridge trail ...

Here's the view from the terrace in front of the tower ...

Here is the back part of the tower. This place was originally built around the turn of the century as a summer home. The stonework is incredible.

And the tower itself which you can see from just about anywhere in the Farmington Valley (where I live).

First, I hope you feel better SOOOON!! The pollen count here is off the charts, too.

Second - those pics are GORGEOUS!!! I'm jealous you get to hike there! SPECTACULAR views - I bet it's also fantastic in the fall when the leaves are all changing!

For some reason I thought we had pipe up in your neck of the woods (which could mean a potentail road trip!) However in looking at my maps, it looks like the closest our pipe gets is Agawam and Hopkinton MA.

[Edited to add... whoops CT is smack in the middle of Agawam Division].

Nice job on the weight loss.

Great pics -- really makes me want to head up to the Northeast! I haven't been there in so long!

And hope you feel better. I can sympathize with the allergies. My throat's been scratchy for the past week or so.
