Indeed - so long as the trend is downward, you're doing just fine. Keep up the good work.

Food ended a bit differently ... took forever to take down the Christmas stuff, then clean the carpet ... sigh ... I didn't break to eat ... BUT ... I stuck to my plan, just rearranged a bit to have something faster (ie less cooking time) and feel good. I did have an extra serving of the quinoa salad, but I figure that was better than a bowl of popcorn, right?

Way to go on the 2.6, Julie. I've been craving salts and sweets lately, too. I finally broke down last night and had a nice warm piece of gingerbread, fresh out of the oven, with homemade whipped cream. It was delicious. That will satisfy me for a while!
Feel better!

Carpet cleaning is good sweaty cardio! Especially if your dog attacks the carpet cleaning machine.
Do you put the tree out by a bird feeder to provide cover for the birds? You get some great bird watching out of it.
You siad you had a good cry after your pictures. You have been a very strong woman. Look what you have shouldered in the past year. Put that shitty damn year behind you ( I could be biased!) and move forward.
You will get where you want to go.

Busy busy busy, that's what!!!
My youngest daughter started gymnastics today, so that was fun ... it was a parent-tot class and we did some good moving around. Nothing sweat-inducing, but at least as much as when I do yoga ...
I have a new client this late afternoon ... should be fun ... he's an orthopedic mess so I'll really get to test my brain which will be fun. I also am working physical therapy this weekend. I have a full day on Saturday and an easy day on Sunday. The extra money will be good.
No other workouts planned today ... last weekday of rest for a while ...
Here's today's food ... a little higher in carbs in the morning, but I compensated by decreasing later in the day ...

Thanks ... busy weekend too. I work per diem weekends doing homecare (I'm a physical therapist) and I have a busy schedule this weekend. Too bad as I was looking forward to relaxing a bit before the challenge starts!! But I'll be ready and raring to go come Monday!! Eats have been perfect, just not posting it since I haven't had time to enter it into the program.

Calories were a bit higher today, around 1800. More fat and more carbs ... all healthy stuff, it just worked out that way since I didin't plan it in advance. Not bad though.
Really busy day at work tomorrow, so I've got everything all planned out. I'll have to pack my cooler in the car. I have one of those that plug into the power outlet so it's like a little mini-fridge! Here's what I've got planned. Carbs are a bit low, but that's okay given today's level!!

I must say I was proud of myself this evening again ... Matt made popcorn ... and I resisted it successfully. I was craving chocolate, and there is a tiny bit of gluten-free chocolate cake left over from Christmas (probably stale) ...and I talked myself out of eating it since it will certainly NOT get me closer to my goal!!! Yay me!!!
OK ... off to bed ... YAWN ...

Some people have had good results taking glutamine to combat sweet cravings. You can give it a shot, especially in the evening. Another thing you can do is mix all natural cocoa powder (full fat) with some sour cream or heavy whip cream and some stevia to make a small dose of chocolate sweetness. I believe in the power of cocoa, just not in store bought chocolate.
