After giving it some thought, I've decided that it's more efficient to say "squeezers" and "non-squeezers" rather than "good girl muscles" and "bad girl muscles." Carry on.

I went to the drug store for some razor blades and they had the Headblade Sport on sale.
Necessary? No. Easier than my Mach III? Yes. Much easier. It's like Zamboni for your head.
Oh, 190lbs. That's what eating does to me. Up six lbs. It will obviously go slower from here. But, my high baseline should be close to 190 (I'll weigh on Sundays, I guess) and my low baseline (tuesdays) is starting from 184. We'll see what happens.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree here. I'm thinking more along the lines of "squeezers" and "spreaders."

Just looking at it makes me want to shave my head!

A quick glance in here makes me wonder that in hell you are all taking about.
It sounds like a discussion of working the pubococcygeus and, perhaps, adductors and abductors. Squeezers . . .spreaders . . . what's next?
You forgot shaving.
Squeezers, spreaders, and ....shaving.

If you're going to use them like DBs, then it's not worth the expense. You can do swings, windmills, carries, rows, etc. with anything. The difference for me is when you do Kettlebell Sport (Girevoy), you use them in a very fluid manner, using strength endurance.
Also, a relative beginner could get a good dynamic workout with dbs, because there's almost no skill involved to snatch or clean them. KBs take take to master before you can get the same weight up there. I can snatch 105-110lbs in a db, but I just hurt myself with KBs that were much lighter.
It would be harder to do max effort snatches and cleans with a kb because you have to slow at the top to cushion the blow or fluidly catch it (or ouch!). IMO, of course. I've seen guys do a db snatch of 150+lbs. Could that be done with a 150+lbs KB? Probably, but it would take skilz.
The goal of Girevoy is to do lots and lots and lots of reps with a set weight, so you have to conserve energy, be fluid, and have good endurance.
Once you have the KBs, you can use them for other things, as they are fun tools to use. But if I was not interested in the sport, I would not consider getting them before I got a good set of DBs.
