Happy New Year, hope it's a good one for you. And thanks for the many insightful or funny posts of the last year that have made me laugh or stop to think.

You are in great shape, and you fake super super healthy so well
There are a couple of issues you need worked on, after which some very healthy heavy squats and lunges await
I'm personally (PT) excited for you Not very excited about the soft tissue work pain that I will have to inflict on you. You can vent here all you want.

Workout - we only had 30 minutes before 24 Hour Fitness closed for the night, so this was a shorty.

Warmup

Mobility Pain

A1, Cable Chest Press, 70x12, 75x12, 80x12
A2, Misc lower body lifts that I can't really do now that we've tried them -- FAIL

B1, I think that was an elbow in my glute
B2, Guantanamo level pain

C, DB Swings, 35 (1 minute of swings x 4 rounds)

When 24 Hour Fitness came out with their larger clubs a few years ago, they started to close the small (and much slower) clubs earlier on the weekends as long as there is a Sport or Super Sport Club nearby. So, my local one closes at 10pm on Friiday, 9pm on Sat/Sun, then at 5am Monday it opens and stays open until Friday at 10pm again.

There are two fully 24 hour ones within 15 minutes of me, though. We just didn't feel like it. PLUS, the goal was a short workout and this way, it was a sure bet.

Doesn't seem like it should be CALLED 24-hour-fitness if it isn't...

And ok, I feel dumb but - could you explain the new avi? I think I'd like it if I understood it

I think his avatar is either:

A. He's about to get baptized. Aggresively.
B. Pickup football game.
C. He's an extra on the set of the Kung Fu movie prequel

And here I was thinking it was Captain Picard caught in an aggressive handshake with some random dude in a parallel universe.
