^^ reminds me of the one time we had bleacher seats for the Rose Parade (someone gifted them to us) - the guys in front of us had a gallon of either milk or eggnog and they were passing it and swigging from it and they'd fill it back to the top with bourbon or whiskey each time it came back to the first guy - so it just got stronger and stronger as the morning wore on.

Thanks, my friends. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve at my Mom's house. My sister and her family were there, too. We took a walk through the neighborhood, which was highly decorated. People come from miles around to drive through.
Prime rib, shrimp, mashed potatoes, green beans, chocolate cheesecake, and pumpkin pie. Mmmm...

It was a great Christmas, Zach. Hope you had a good one, too!
It turns out I had a deload, backoff, or slacking week. No workouts for one whole week. This might be my first time EVER doing that.
A1, Power Cleans, 135 (3/3), 155 (2/2/2/2/2/2)
A2, Dips (13/11/9)
B1, V-Grip Seated Rows to chest, 110 (12), 120 (10/8)
B2, EZ Wall Curls, 55 (12/11)
Short and sweet
My traps are super sore, today. I haven't done any deads or cleans in a loooong time.

I'm actually considering doing this a lot more often once i get healthy. Maybe once every 3 months or so.

The hardest part for me is that I love to workout. Some people look forward to the break, but I don't. This took kids, Christmas, shopping, big work projects/pressure, volunteer work, and a tremendous amount of housecleaning. It was workouts or sleep, and I chose neither.
This week's pretty slow with workouts, too. Short hike, today. Workout planned for tomorrow.

Wonderful. We're having a great time. A little hiking in between recovering from the jet lag. We're heading to the gym tonight.
On the upside/downside, I've been fully diagnosed as fucked up, physically.
Apparently, this is going to be a lot of work.
