I felt like that cat today. I was whacking the printer just 10 minutes before I started a demo. I could have gone ugly...

2. Nice job on the workout, happy Roland. Jerks indeed (should) have very little to do with your arms, it's dip, drive, and catch. All hips.
I had the youtube problem the other day. Had to restart my browser.
I'm actually trying to do Push Presses, but they turn into jerks as the reps go on. I was a little sore all over from that workout. But it was all good, too.
B1, Jump Shrugs, 185 (6/5/5/5)
B2, Chins, 4xMax (12/10/8/8) -- very happy. 38 vs 36 last week.
B3, Pushups, 3xMax (28/20/20) -- ditto on happy. 68 from 66. Plus, 28 is a PR!
There are some things that are satisfying to progress in. Pushups and chinups are big ones. One of my training "clients" can knock out 40 perfect pushups. I'm trying to catch up to him.
On a side note, my hands are really thrashed and hurting. No calluses ripping, but they are generally shredded.
The cat video cracks me up.... Which is good, I haven't laughed enough lately.

The YT freeze is a Flash plugin problem, something about backward compatibility. Browse to this location in your file system:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\F lash\
Run the utility "flash util" something or other, close and re-open your browser (make sure it clears the system processes list, or it won't work), and try again. You may have to reboot depending on your browser.

That. Was. HYSTERICAL!!! My cat doesn't do any of that funny cat stuff. She just partially eats rodents and leaves the remains for me ... "Look Ma! Aren't I a great cat?!"

I was talking to my daughter about her new school... She was excited to tell me about her PE class. The class has 15 TRXs for the students and she was the only one who already knew how to use one. Happy Allie.
In Michaela's PE class they do jumping jacks. Err. Or they are supposed to be jumping jacks. I can only imagine how funny it must be to watch a group of 5 year olds doing jumping jacks.
Middle school this year for Ali?

There's probably similarities between that and watching a bunch of middle age people doing jumping jacks, particularly uncoordinated folks of any age, like me.

I squoze in a workout before work, but it wasn't so pretty. I felt felt über weak and not in the groove. Perhaps a more extensive warmup would help.
Anyhow...
A1, Power Cleans, 135 (5), 155 (3), 175 (1), 155 (3/3/3)
A2, DB Pushups (for the ROM), (20/15/13) -- These were humbling. On #13, there I went down and plop.
B1, Front Squats, 135 (8), 155 (8/8/6)
B2, Face Pulls to neck, 80 (15/15/15)
B3, Overhead Shrugs, 115 (8/8/8)
Started off wonky, but ended up leaving after a good workout.

4 rounds of:
5 chins @ tree
Mound sprint
Jog to far off bench
10 pushups
Jog to mound
Mound sprint
Return to tree
8m 15s
Ride home
I'm feeling really unconditioned. I feel like stepping it up a bit. Shorter rests in the gym. Tougher supersets. More sweat.
I wish I still believed in EPOC. It was comforting.
Bottom line, I felt better when I knew I could outsprint the people around me. I still can, but just once. I want to know I can do it over and over again, and leave them in the dust, crying or something. At least they should want to cry. Wimper? Sob?
Note: The mound in this workout is a steep hill in the middle of the park. It's like the mound they made in 'The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill And Came Down A Mountain.'. Maybe a bit taller.
