I want to make sure I have my PF on the road to gone and that my shoulder issues don't come back. I'd like to single leg squat someday, and if I decide to do any serious "normal" squatting, the flexibility and mobilty to do that would be nice.

Obviously, you've heard and seen the evidence of my overall tightness and inflexibility. My shoulder and PF are just the result of not having taken care of these issues. What's next? Let's hope for nothing.

Julie wanted two weeks off from training, but I just had almost two off when I was sick. We have agreed on two days a week (as long it doesn't conflict with her plan for fixing me), plus the stretching and mobility stuff.

I'm also counting calories, following Leigh's OPT/FLTS calorie/macro prescriptions (sorta). I tend to get anal, and I don't want that again. I will REALLY follow the cals, but go with the spirit of the macros. 20% carbs is really easy for me to hit, 35% is like doing TAP again. I will do my best to hit the macro without stressing.

Carbs are the challenge, just because they make me hungry. Calories trump the macros, though. Having said that, I want to do this right, so I will attempt to hit my 35% this week. The good news is that it means I can eat a Breakfast Jack along the way. With no guilt! Looking down the line at weeks of 50% carbs? Uh oh.

I'm writing down all foods, but I tend to eat the same all the time, so I might not always fill out fitday as often as I'd like. Nevertheless, my fitday chart is in my signature.

Ahem ... I'm waiting ...

Julie, I hope to have your pics/videos later today. I've been busy the last few days with the kids. Today, too, but hopefully by tonight...

Rethinking my eating has been a challenge. If I don't plan, I end up with the macros all wrong and out of calories by dinner, then starving at 9! Time to regroup...

Oh, and carbs are not satisfying. They are delicious, though.

Just had a spinach salad with bacon, feta, grilled mushrooms and onions.
Oh yeah -- and grilled pork ribs.

That was satisfying. And delicious.

I just did the hardest thing ever. Something no man should ever have to face.

I just ate only HALF of a carne asada burrito.

I didn't share it. ROLAND DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!

The rest is in the fridge.

I hear it. Calling to me. Do you hear it? Eat me... eat me... Well, I think it's the burrito...

Still 189, so EAT ME, burrito!

You're a saint. I'd throw out the other half or it would be calling my name all damned night.

Nice work, Roland.

I'd have to throw it out and pour something yucky over it to avoid digging it out later (that's a Jill trick BTW) ... or at home stuff it down the disposal!!!

I ate it as my snack, just as I'd planned.

I wish my scale didn't have a decimal place. It's 188.8. I don't want to have to do rounding. It's a slippery slope to obsession.

Congrats on your restraint. (I don't know what a carne asada burrito is, but it sounds tasty.)

As for the scale, I know what you mean - I weigh on a doctor's (analog?)scale, and since I have to do it on my own, I'm constantly fiddling the slider up or down to get an accurate reading.

Carne asada is Mexican marinated steak, sliced very thin, and grilled. It's pretty common out here for tacos, salads, burritos, or just as meat on the plate.

I think polo is horse. Pollo is chicken.

I'm eating albondigas y arroz now.

My father-in-law and brother-in-law swear by lingua burritos from those mobile taco stands. I haven't been courageous enough to try yet.
