Hey, the softball was right there for Julie to hit...

Totally crappy day. It started off okay, but I ended up grumpy. I hoped a workout would snap me out of it, but I'm no better after. In fact, I bailed early on the lifting, too.
I was supposed to start with squats, but it was cold over there. The fans were blowing too f'ing hard, so I figured to start with upper body stuff and come back.
10x3
A1, Bench Press, 165 for 5 sets, then bumped it up to 175 for the rest
A2, Chest Supported Row, 135 for 1 set, then dropped down to 125
I walked over the squat rack and decided that I still wasn't into it and went home.

Good call on the stopping, sometimes it is better to just pack it in rather then try to push through it and risk injury. Get some rest and nip that cold before it really gets to you.

Back Squat Note -- That 315 felt really good, but the 325 felt really scary going down. Mostly in the lower back. How can 10lbs make that big a difference?
Front Squat note -- In the last set, I went for the clean grip, fingertip thing. I got three reps, then it hurt like a bastard. I might have to practice those a little lighter.

Nice job on the PR. The eccentric on those IS a little wobbly, but I wonder if that's more of a mental thing (I think it is for me). My squat seriously needs to catch up to my deadlift.

Very nice squatting! 10lbs can make a difference, but I agree that it is probably a mental thing. Having more weight on your back than you ever had before has a large degree of uncertainty even if it is only a 10lb increase. You also could have been getting tired at that point and didn't stay quite as tight on the way down.
I find that if I don't do front squats for a while it takes some time to get my wrist flexibility back. Keep working on it and things should improve.
I think the feeling of the 325 being much heavier is all in your head, it isn't. But 10lbs can make a big difference to whether you make the lift or not, you could explode through one rep really well and add another 10lbs and get buried, but I wouldn't think you would notice this until you try it, as it shouldn't feel much different on your back.
It could also be that you were fatigued once you got to the 325.
