120lbs of wrasslin' fun. I could let it ride in the passenger seat and take carpool lanes, too! My birthday's coming up, you know. Hint, hint.

Tonight's workout.

A, Jump Shrug, 6x3 (all 275lbs)

B1, Zercher Squats, 6x3 (all 225lbs)
B2, DB Bench, 6x3 (70/75/75/75/75/75)

C1, Chinups, 3x8-10 (+10lbs)
C2, L2H Explosive Woodchops, 3x8-10 (80lbs)

Freemotion Machine
D1, External Rotations, 3x8-10 (25lbs)
D2, Cable Curls, 3x8-10 (50lbs)

E, Single Arm Pullover w/stretch, 3x8-10 (15lbs)

In addition to normal stretching, I did Ian King's Lazy Man's Guide To Stretching.

This was an excellent workout.

I couldn't believe it. One of the "300 boyz" was mocking me for something. I couldn't tell what. It was during the Zercher Squats/DB Bench. I gave him the stinkeye and he stopped.

These are the guys who do 300 practice with no oomph. They do 35lbs db clean and presses like the have all the time in the world. They jump on a box 50 times. Pretty slowly, too. Talking the whole time. A short box. Not 24 inches. More like 12.

Today, they did hammer curls while balancing on their knees on a swiss ball. Then they did swiss ball crunches. Then they really, really slow upright rows (with a cable and pressdown handle) until the bar was over their heads.

These two guys look like they are in good shape, so why don't they do better? Oh, I think they are firefighters. So said the shorts.

OMG!!! I say we all pool in for the sandbag man for Roland. I want to hear the stories that come from that.

I am continually amazed at the pictures that you guys seem to come up with.

Well, Zercher squats are sort of weird looking if you have never heard of them before. They were probably like, why is he holding the bar in at his elbows ... freak?!

Seems to be an epidemic of stinkeye around here lately...

Nice workout, Roland.

That thing's awesome, like a ninja Star Wars figure.

Weird about the mocking firefighter weight dweebs. They're probably in OK shape because they work out slowly for six hours a day.

Ninja Star Wars figure? Looks more like a kinky black leather blowup doll if you ask me.

A guy doing the 300 Workout while wearing shorts stolen from the fire department has got to qualify for tool of the week. Yeesh.
