He's gone soon, I think. He thinks he's so clever, but look how obvious he is. Even that dumb girl was onto him after ONE day. He did get rid of her, but it's only a matter of time before another one figures him out. The one he calls "Old Lady" or something is ready to get rid of him already.

How 'bout that mullet on Shambo?

OMG, that mullet is classic!! Yeah, he's a bit obvious, but he was cracking me up! But, the "old lady" is a cop and she is on to him, for sure. This looks to be a good season!

This is the first time I've ever seen the season opener. It was interesting, but I sort of expected more than just watching the boats land.

New weight low, this morning.

Wait for it.

Wait for it.

176 lbs!

We'll see what the scale says come Monday. I plan to be a good boy.

Sorta not pleasant to think I'm 176 and still have a some more to lose to be siq [sic] lean. I've come this far. *gulp*

Today was CA Coastal Cleanup Day, so I did that in the morning in Long Beach. Beautiful day out, today.

Gym time

EXTENSIVE dynamic warmup/mobility, 15+ minutes

jump rope
carioca
walking lunges forward and backward
above, but where you stay low like you're trying not to hit a low ceiling
neck stuff
shoulder stuff
hip stuff
Keep On Truckin' stretch (It's like the Cossack stretch, but I'm not that awesome)
Squeezer stretch
Pigeon stretch (I know this one's name (yay me!))

fuck (not actually, but like omg fuck this is a lot of shit fuck)

A, BB Push Press, 155, 10 reps total
B, BB Military Press, 115 (5), 105 (5/5)
C, Chins, +65, 10 reps total

More mobility, intermixed with...

D, Glute Bridges (15/15/15)
E, Dynamic Side Planks (10/10/10) -- L and R is one rep

Thought I'd stop by and be friendly! Lol! Congrats on the new low! Hope you made it through the weekend and that you were good like you planned! Weekends are the weakest point for me, and I have no idea how I will do next weekend since I am going out of town to my parents for the weekend. I ALWAYS manage to blow my diet and gain a lb or 3 while I'm there. It's weird, I can stay home and feel normal but the second I go to the parents' house for a visit my hunger levels skyrocket. Anyway! Thanks for the help!

No, I meant the whole subforum dedicated to spam. Instead of deleting spam threads, they would get moved to the spam forum and then teh boyz (mostly Cynic and Bob) would jump in and make fun of them.

I was:

Then i listened to the fitcast, and how they made fun of the TIME magazine guy who wrote about how he rewarded himself with a blueberry muffin post workout.

Then i was:

Weekends at home are tough for me. The work routine works for me. At home with the kidlets is tough.

I still think if you're going to eat one, eat it after training. Those bearclaws are too good, though.

Did you listen to the most recent fitcast, where Kevin's talking about the guy washing up in the locker room. I couldn't stop laughing. I think the people in the cars around me thought I was crazy.

How is your performance in training?

Start eating now in prep for Tuesday's training or Aya is gonna whoop up on you!

Good KB workout down at the beach, last night. Four of us doing KBs, pullups, rope climbs, and sand sprints.

Mobility/Warmup

Pullups, 9/8/5 - I think 9 might be a PR, but I'm not sure. I don't keep careful records.
Single KB Clean and Jerk, 16kg, 2 minutes each hand, two rounds
Sand Sprints, there and back, three rounds
Windmills

Single KB Jerks - I also did a few sets of KB Jerks with the 24kg. OMG! I was able to get 4-5 on each side the first round, but boy was that a beat down. Round two and three I was down to 2-3 each side.

I was very bad at windmills a few weeks ago, but Chris has me actually able to do them now. It's all about relaxing the glutes enough to push the hips back, while keeping the arm stable overhead. I had it down without weight a couple weeks back, but any weight at all caused "glute lock" and I went nowhere. I was finally able to get them with an 8kg and then a 12kg. Things are getting better.

Cossack Stretch is coming along, too. I'm getting lower!

I need to keep the stretching up and really work on my tight lats and thoracic spine area now. Chris noticed that after stretching and mobilizing that area, that I'm able to squat lower and more easily. Seems I'm tight all over. Who knew?

Weight is 178, after a weekend of serious eating. That's two pounds up, but something like 7 down from the start. Things are going.

Last night I got "You look great" and "don't lose too much weight," so I'm on the right track, unfortunately. I hope I can get as lean as I want without looking too lean. If I do, I'll have no choice but to go back up a bit. Maybe it'll come back more evenly distributed? haha! Wishful thinking!

Good stuff Roland.

I saw you jerking the 24 but didn't see how many reps you did. I bet you are able to press it for at least that many reps so keep working jerk technique and your numbers will shoot up pretty quick.

Good times. Looking forward to next week. Hopefully we can get Alice and some other dangerball comrades to join us.

It was fun! We have to keep it up!

My hips are sure sore from all the pre kb loosening. ...and my foot's killing me from the running into the wall incident. Ouch!

Looking good in here!
