toes, fingers, forearms, quads, calves. All sore this morning.
I forgot to mention the weighted vests we were wearing during that first circuit, too. OMG!

Oh yeah!
What made it REALLY fun was having other people to challenge me. You have to go fast so the next person doesn't catch up to you in the circuit. That just doesn't look good.
heh heh, yeah it is embarrassing to be doing your ring pushups or GHRs and next thing you know a 5' tall Japanese woman is yelling at you to hurry up and get out of her way.
Glad we could amuse you. Next time we'll wear the 20lb vests.

btw we were in there today and some French-Canadian trainer asked about the Vibrams and said her colleague in Canada has his hockey guys wear them for training.

Yeah, but at least we didn't have to pull up a stool to do a chinup...

That's good to hear. They took a little getting used to, but now they feel really natural. Still not good at putting them on, though. That toe goes in what hole?
The Vibrams and I went on a two mile hike, today. It was nice when it was soil, sand, and dirt, but when it was rocky (read sharp gravel and shards of broken shale or something), ouch! Sometimes shoes ARE better.

Time to get light in the loafers, twinkle toes

Thanks! Thanks to Chris and Aya for the hosting, planning, and setup.
The trapbar was great. I'd like to try it first and see how much I can do when I'm not already trashed. The bar had fat handles bolted on, too, so it was tough to grip after all the KBs and rope pullups, and chinups!
Aya's 145 went up pretty easy. I think she doesn't know what she has in her...
For the record that was a 44kg (98lb) bell I did with my left. Not that anyone is counting
btw Roland checking that video you need to work on more hip/ankle mobility before going heavier on the DL. Your lumbar is rounding slightly at the bottom. Many minutes a day of mobility, especially seeing as how much you sit. Supported squat holds at the bottom and tons of flexibility work.
Was a blast. We'll come up with some other devilish protocols for next time.

How about you run me through some mobility on those areas next time we train? I'm still willing to skip the DLs, though. I haven't done any but rack pulls in months as it is...
We miss you too Galya. You and Aya are going to have to do a DL and KB-off next time and show the boys how it's done
Broland, sure we'll do some mobility stuff. Get those squeezers loosened.
As for the needing a step to do pull-up wisecrack Aya says her favorite part of the video is watching Niagara falls coming down your face while she's hardly breaking a sweat. hahaha

Hey Roland, just catching up--FINALLY. How long is G gonna be in town, and oh btw, nice new avi.
And workouts. Those too.
When's she coming back is the question...

I still haven't really done any running in them. Someday, I'll try it. I remember running barefoot on the beach once, years ago. It took my toes a long time to recover...
