Getups - practice for bad side -- I'm good when I have the right leg forward, but the left sucks! It's coordination, though. Practice is helping, but it feels soooo awkward.

Food was really good today, so I'm happy (no guilt).
Just ate the last of my last bowl of yogurt from last week's batch. This is good stuff. I made a new batch last night. 4th generation yogurt. I'd be at generation 8 or 9, but I forgot to save some a few weeks back, so had to start over.
There seems to be a difference between generation 1 and generation 3 or 4. I wonder if it settles in after a few rounds. We'll see.
Thanks, everyone. That picture was taken a month or so back, when we got together with Chris and Aya to train down on Santa Monica Beach. That's Chris's Power Wheel that I'm about to be humbled by... Those things are hard!
I'm pretty sore from my last workout. I might take the day off and just do something tomorrow. Not sure yet.
Taking the kids to a movie screening of Hachiko today. Should be fun.
We didn't go to the screening, but saw Transformers, instead. Turns out both kids were just being nice when I asked them if they wanted to see Hachiko. We got there and saw the line wrapping around the block... We had reservations, but as we were looking for parking like a half mile away, they came clean (via hints). So, we vowed to rent the dvd someday and go see huge robots destroy large chunks of Beijing, instead.
Transformers was fun, but not as good as the first one. It bothered Tony a bit that they messed with the robots too much between the cartoons/toys and the movie. He spends a lot of brain power explaining things to make it work, like all the different version are supposed to be in line with one another. Doesn't really work out that way, though. He still liked it, though.
You mean me shooting stuff? I only shoot targets and helpless stuffed animals.

Your boy sounds like my 14yo. His mind never stops working--makes my brain hurt sometimes. Glad you had fun at the movie though.
Nice workout! We had good weather here too (after the rain blew through) but I didn't get to take advantage of an outdoor workout...
If this weather keeps up, I'm hitting the beach for some sand sprints and trx on thursday or friday!

It is hard. It was really hard on the grass in my vibrams. The rope kept getting stuck between my toes.

Is those stuffed animals the enemy in your next Blade movie? The sequels never stand up...

I keep feeling the urge to rip it apart for it's flaws in logic, and then I remember it's... Transformers!
Not really much of a spoiler, and it's Transformers, but I'll hide this anyway.
For instance... at one point early in, a dying bad transformer says something like "the fallen shall rise again," which to me means the Decepticons, who'd been previously trounced, would rise again. They are "the fallen," right?
So, all the humans and good transformers are all like "OMG! What could that mean? It's so ominous! Let's prepare!" ...and I'm wondering why they would think that. It's like if a German soldier said "Germany will come back" before he died. But, no. The main villain is The Fallen (a bad robot) that no one had even HEARD of, but somehow they must have recognized the capital letters in the dying transformers ominous warning?
Anyhow... other than that, it would have been nice to have the good ones be more colorful in robot form so you could see who's good and who's bad in a big fight.
I'm looking forward to the gym, tonight.
I need to get my emotional eating under control. I'd be so much more awesome if I could do that.
ROI on awsumness is like everything else. Once you get to a certain level of awsym, it's really hard to get to the nexter level of totally friggin awsym… trust me, I know. It's major pain to go beyond uber-awsumm, and I'm exhausted from the effort.

On days when I'm extra awesome, I have to take a nap.

I've had good luck with fruit, lately. I found some apricots that were awesome. Some heirloom tomatoes from a stand that were amazing. Cherries galore!

I hope so! It's an easy habit to keep up! Just had some cherries and yogurt.
Here's tonight's workout! I've never sweat more from a non-metabolic workout. Felt good.
