I was uncomfortably full AND I had the meat sweats. They were looking at me like they were worried.
I'm pretty uncomfortable now myself.

The day before, I walked about 20 minutes in the frees and things sure hurt.
Not smart (look left), but perhaps your feet are now used to working? I get the same thing: no pain or soreness after a day in my Vibrams or sneakers (motorsports style), but my thick-soled sandals or especially my steel-toes, just a matter of minutes before both Achilles feel like they're going to pop.

hey roland. have decided to use my vibrams for walking only and the frees for lifting. as the mileage is cranking to 30 miles per week, I notice that I just need more support. yesterday when I was shopping with jill, we found a great running store with a knowlegeable shoe guy. he put me back in my gel kayanos and I did great in them for 5 miles @ marathon pace just now. luv my vibs, just don't want to injure myself this early in the season.
How old are the Frees? Could be that they are worn in a pattern that your feet no longer like after all the corrective stuff. Could also be that your feet/ankles/hips are gaining more mobility and that the Frees just aren't a good "fit".

Yeah, it seems a little risky with all the running that you're going to need to do.
I'm planning to use them for walking and lifting. I'm not a good runner to begin with, so I'll really have to wait and see...

I don't think so. They aren't very worn at all. Option two is more likely, I think.
I'll have to dig out some of my other shoes and see if they are any better.
Very brief workout, last night. Low energy, so this was it...
A, DB Floor Press, 70 (3/3/3/3/3)
B, Leaning Lat Pulls, 150 (8/8/8)
C, DB Alternating Bench, 55 (10/10)
I guess I'm just used to wearing the vibrams all summer long for pretty much anything that doesn't require heels (which is rare before, and now I have such a good excuse) or extreme safety… and I wear them about 1/2 the winter too… but I'm a very barefoot person anyway so… *shrug* maybe I'm the odd one.

…nah
I think they are coming today!
I hope I can wear them a lot when I'm not working. I love barefoot, but I have sensitive soles (the skin). Tiny pebbles, sticks, and seeds really kill my feet, so I hope these will do the trick.
That was my problem for a while. When I was a kid I stepped on a bee (stinger up) and that kinda made me skittish about being barefoot for a while.
I like my feet like my hands, nice and soft and callus-free.
Barefoot is the best...I kinda feel like it's wrong walking around at work with them on...I work for a day camp so there's no dress up but it still feels like I'm home walking around barefoot...

My husband likes the calluses I get from lifting raw. I will not say why.

For the record, Roland was not forced in any way. And we were just worried because you didn't want dessert.
C1, DB Fly, 27.5 (8/8/8)
C2, DB Squeeze Press, 27.5 (12/12/10+2)
C3, DB Rear Delt Raise, 17 (8/10/10)
D, Wall Curls, 55 (8+2/6+2+2)
I didn't go to the gym in my Vibrams because they feel a little loose and I'm not sure about them yet. I have the Classics, which have an elastic draw to tighten them up. The Sprints had a velcro strap and felt much more secure. I'm going to wear them around the house a little more before going outside and messing them up. They ARE very comfortable, and I'm sure I can walk all day in them. Just worried about the training part.
I've never had any trouble with the classics slipping. Although I was UN-ABLE to tighten the bungee cord as it bothered the top of my foot.
Me too...if I tighten the bungee it's all kinds of annoying...other than that they're awesym!!! I was thinking about the velcro but I didn't think it would be comfy......soooooooo did you get to wear them after work????
BTW....been doing a little morning IFing...thought about it after our conversation in Starbucks at the summit...I asked Alan and he said if it works for me why not! So thanks...
