Feeling lean enough. Yesterday was a bulking day, now back to eating light again for a a few days. I'm going with "light," not super low cals for the weekend. I'm going to eat no breakfast, but then starting late afternoon I'll eat "normally." Monday and Tuesday will be light again.

If I didn't mention it before, I feel like I'm up about 5lbs of non-fat, but I had to drop a little bit of the "too much fat" to get back to only that 5lbs. The next rounds will be:

Mon - IF and super low cal
Tue/AM - IF and low cal until lunch
Tue/PM - Workout and high eating after work
Wed - Not gorging, but high calories
Thu - IF and low cal until lunch
Thu/PM - Workout and high eating after work
Fri- Not gorging, but high calories
Sat/Sun - IF and low cal until lunch, relaxed eating from lunch on. Not super low, but soooo not high.

I'm pretty stiff from Thursday's workout. Need to go walking!

5 miles of walking

Grease the Groove with the chins, today. 5 reps each set.

Actual workout...

A1, Pushups/Feet on table (10/10/10)
A2, Ab Rollouts (10/10/10)
A3, Chinups (5/5/5) - plus tons throughout the day
A4, Single Leg RDL

B1, Reaching Lunges (10/10/10)
B2, TRX Pushups (12/12/12)
B3, BW Split Squats (12/12/12)
B4, TRX Rows (15/15/15)

Bodyweight is fun. Felt good to use the TRX again, too.

I'm looking forward to warmer weather and TRX use also ... of course it's a balmy 32 degrees today so apparently it's a ways off.

Crappy workout, last night.

A, Bench, 135 (12/12/12)

B, Inverted Rows (9/8/8)

C, Deadlift, various weights and reps - practicing and trying to get my form back.

I'm still dieting, but I did REFEED last night. Healthy food, followed by homemade caramel corn. Mmmmm...

It was pretty basic, and not a lot of caramel.

I popped a bag of popcorn and had it ready and spread out in a large baking pan.

1/4 cup of sugar in a saucepan over medium high heat. Stir until it's melted, then let it caramelize. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and stir it in.

Drizzle the hot caramel over the popcorn and stir as best you can. It will clump together.

I just wanted a little taste of sweet and salty, but you might need a lot more sugar to satisfy others.

Mmmm ... I'll have to make that with/for the girls later this week!!

No water with the sugar? Just dry sugar in the pan?
Would it work with succanat do you think or just the highly refined white stuff?

No water. It liquifies as it heats up.

You're not one of those are you? All sugar is crap, Julie.

It should work.

I know ... but for ME the cravings are much worse after eating the white stuff.
I do better with succanat or even turbinado.

And of course I'm one of those!

I'd end up just making one giant popcorn ball.

And I'd be perfectly happy with that.

I can't match RL's funny locker room stories, but I have these...

1. Isn't it gross to sit bare-assed on a locker room bench? For you and for the next people. Especially when you, yourself, are gross? Put down a towel. He hadn't even showered. He worked out, stripped down, sat, dressed, left. *shudder*

2. I was talking to a guy in the locker room who I've talked to many times before. My gaydar has long said "yes." Last night, we're talking, and he couldn't focus on me or what we were talking about, he had to keep looking past me. When I finally looked, there's a hot 20-ish abs guy standing over there. Ass-hole.

Locker room stories are a competition I know Roland is happy to lose.

But those are some nice numbers on the workout, man. Clean and bench numbers look especially strong, but I figured you for more than sets of 6 on inverted rows.

I can do a few more if I use a supinated grip, but wider and pronated is hard. I was trying to do the right thing and work the rhomboids and the other misc stuff back there.

Plus, I'm still up 7lbs, and our gravity was relentless.

Thanks!

I did a short and sweet workout, today.

5 minutes rope jumping - lame and out of practice

DB Snatches from floor, 65 (10), 75 (5/5/5) - each side, so 20, then 10, 10, 10 - really brutal at the end.

5 minutes rope jumping - better, but still lame. I was better than the other guy, so I quit before I started to trip up and came out looking good.

This was a good workout. I feel pretty unconditioned compared to last year, but I did okay. I will ramp this up a little bit.

Felt good to have my heart shooting through my chest.
