I have meditated every day this week ... and also have not missed a workout! Yay me!! Eats have been good, but could be better (ie A choices instead of B choices). But one thing at a time ... I'm back on track with my workouts and it feels great.

Exercise = check; 5- 1 minute on, 2 minutes off running on the treadmill. I got my 11 minute mile today!
Foods = almost check; I really "needed" that chocolate this afternoon, so I made it dark chocolate, so not as much sugar.
Cooking = check
Resisting the temptation to eat fast food by myself (kiddos were in school which meant I could have eaten fries without any guilt) = DOUBLE check!

1) No Snooze alarm - check
2) No undisciplined afternoon snacking - check (lots of gum though again)

Exercise 3/3
Diet 1/3

Bonus smilie face goes on the calendar for actually throwing away a bean burrito that got put in my bag (Fresco Style Chicken Ranchero tacos fit into my macros nicely today) because it didn't fit into my macros and I didn't want to be tempted by it.

I don't get to have a nap just yet, but it's on this afternoon's list of approved activities!

Geez....I guess I missed all the fun! Actually, beer was my drink of choice in my early adult years, probably because it was the cheapest. I didn't much like it though...it hurt my nose just like soda does. Then I switched to some harder stuff, wanted to feel more mature, I guess. I had a very bad night on black berry brandy once. My friend fared much worse. And tequila made for some interesting voids in my memory.

No....I don't do that stuff anymore. Haven't for a long time now. But, thanks anyway, LD, you're too kind!

Workouts 6\6
Breakfast-Lunch 5\5
Dinners....I dunno about the "moderate" portions on these ones. There wasn't any freak show meals but full compliance would be a stretch.

Cheat days, yay

White Russians are a pretty decent choice if you're out, especially if you can get the ice pellets VS the big blocks. More than anything you're going to drink 2 and be done drinking. No one gets sloppy drunk on white russians.

Hence, your pink dumbbell avatar... I'm seeing it now....

Moi: so far, so good. Enjoying this 40/30/30 thing a lot, it's the way I prefer to eat and man, the white peaches are HEAVEN this time of year.

Sure wish we had peaches. There was a freeze on Easter weekend which killed off most of the crop.

Last time I was at the local farmers' market, I chatted with the lady I usually buy peaches from. She said they got 5% of a crop this year. I paid her $5 for five peaches.

Since then, I've gotten some California peaches at the grocery store, but they're not the same.

Bill, nice job on the one cheat!! Go Bill!! Bummer about the peaches there ... here they are in peak season and just delish ... I've been eating a lot of them

A, I'm a cheap date too ... one beer or any alcoholic drink and I'm flying!! Too many years where I had to abstain (pregnant or breastfeeding) and I've never got my tolerance back ... good thing I guess!

Egham, you are turning into a veggie!!

Paula, way to go on tossing the burrito!

Lisa, way to go on beating that snooze ... how is your mom?

Jamie!!! Nice job on the 11-minute mile!! Way to go sistah!!

Tina, I'm digging the increased carbs too ... helps with my energy level ...

Things here were crazy this weekend ... so my week did not end well regarding making new habits. But my new weeks starts tomorrow and it will be a good one!

ScoreCard:
Sleep:
3/6 Missed Friday night and Saturday night only getting about 6 hours each night
Meditation: 4/6
Me Time: 1/1 Nothing exciting, but I did get some alone time and did watch some TV ...
Eats: 3/6
Workout: 6/6 (Sunday is a planned off day ... and got lots of GPP in lieu of formal workouts on Friday and Saturday, see my log if you care about the details.)
Mood: Tired. Just. So. Freaking. Tired. AF is overdue ... good thing Matt is fixed or I'd be in a panic.

Food packing goal for last week = 1.5/3

I've already grilled a pack of chicken breasts, transfered my spinach into a ziplock bag and am determined to pack food for 3 or 4 days next week depending on how many days I work from home.

Let's See

Food is packed for tomorrow and I know my macros for today and tomorrow! Been a while since that happened! YEAH!

Cooked a bunch of chicken up today and put together my protein powder, almond and oatmeal baggies together for the week. Also cooked up some sweet potatoes.

Have begun the process of sorting stuff for the move. With my work schedule this is not going to be pretty if I don't get get a handle on it now.

Wow! It's been two weeks already. It's all a blur of lifting and cheesecake for me.

One week left and we start with the 2nd 21 Days! Can you believe it?

Wow....21 days goes by really fast. Glad you said we're doing a SECOND 21 days cuz I want a do-over. I sorta drowned myself in pity and ice cream over the weekend due to me being mad about messing up my back.

Goal tomorrow: pack a mid morning snack. I've been doing the 3 squares and a prebed snack, and it's just too far between breakfast and lunch.

Food: all is well today.

Week days are pretty easy for me to keep on track...week ENDS on the other hand have been a total bust. I think it's harder for me when Michael is home...'cause he can eat just about anything. Consequently, the fat is not going anywhere. Legs are looking and feeling a bit firmer...but the belly fat and back of my arms are hanging tight. I am considering switching from fat loss 2 to TT for women.

Exercise yesterday = check
Good food yesterday = check
