Today is absolutely lovely out, but I have to get ready to travel in the morning. Maybe tonight Bob and I can go on a walk.
I thought yesterday was going to be a more strenuous day since I was supposed to help a friend move. However, I ended up doing a television carry, a computer monitor carry, and a receiver carry up a small set of stairs and that's it. Her boyfriend didn't leave College Station until almost 7 pm and I had was not going to unload a uhaul at 9 pm.
I think I'll probably do something here this afternoon after I get everything together for my trip.

Brought my crosstrainers with and my work shoes... that's it.
Just went down to check out the Fitness Facilities.... a lot of machines BUT it looks like they have a good range of DBs and a place where I could do Step Ups and the like.
I let myself get too hungry and just had a huge lunch. Need to find a place to pick up some fruit/nuts to keep with me.

My friend's gym is just up the block and they open up at 6 so I could go there too. They'll give me a free guest pass which would be cool since I could concievably come back to COS for business, and if I could find a good place that would be awesome!

The weather has cleared up. Yesterday was rainy. Recovery at this altitude sucks ass. I had to run to catch something and it took me forever to catch my breath.

I know what you mean ... my mom grew up in Northern Utah where elevation is around 5000 feet. I have lived at sea-level basically my whole life (we did live outside Denver for a few years but moved back to CT when I was 3). Being at my family's farm in Utah has never bothered me, but I notice it running or hiking. We went to stay at my Aunt's cabin which is in Duck Creek, UT (southwestern part of the state) and elevation around 10,000 feet ... I had such altitude sickness it was awful! And it disappeared almost instantly when we got back down to about 5000 feet. Weird!

Trip has been completed. I ended up blowing Wednesday's Calories all together. Yesterday's calorie count has not been totalled up yet. so compliance wise I am 1/3 for sure and maybe 2/3. Need to put yesterday in at some point this weekend.
I'm glad to be home. I scheduled a form check with the trainer at the gym for next week. I want to make sure I've got the right things going on for my lifts. I plan on doing some lifting over the weekend and going for some walks with my sweetie.
Got to play catch up here at work. I'll post some pictures from Colorado this weekend hopefully.
