OOOH not one but two birdies flying around here....

Got the new hell program. I'm back on track folks. Not much change in the routine because lets face it I screwed around all last month, but the Mobility drills changed up. SO.... let the fun begin.

It's going to be a full month smilie faces on my calendar dammit!

Meals today.
Egg white omelette with veggies
Banana
Turkey Spinach Mix and Peas
Cottage Cheese and Peaches
Banana, Milk and PP powder (post WO)
Tonight will either be fish or shrimp with Lots of veggies when I get home.

TOnight's Workout

Step ups
2x10x8s
1x10x10s
Will start these at 10s next time

Face pulls
1x12x5 plates
1x12x6 plates
1x12x7 plates
Will start theses at 6 plates next time

Swiss Ball Hypers
3x12xbw

Seated Lat Raises
1x12x8s
1x12x10s (last two reps on these were really tough)
1x12x8s
Next time will start with the 10s.

Neutral Grip DB Bench
1x12x20s
1x15x20s (I lost count on these and since I could do 15 I upped the weight)
1x12x25s.
Next time I will start with the 25s.

Reverse Crunches
3x15xbw

Side Planks
L/R
1x25/35
2x15/25
Right side is noticeably stronger. Definite need to improve the Left side so it's not lagging when I do these.

17 minutes on the crossramp trainer

I found out that my gym is going to be closed after Dec. 21 for 3-4 weeks ( they are renovating and getting new equipment!!!) So that means the Deadline for the 1 Rep Max goal of 175 moves up just a wee bit (to the 21st).

After Checking FItday when I got home I found out I was short a banana, milk (I forgot the milk I had at work in the fridge), PP and a chicken breast in my food consumption. And the Veggie mix I had night was YUCKIE. I ended up throwing at least half of the veggie mix away. So My calories were a little short to say the least. I added some sweet potato to dinner (ended up having the shrimp) and then for dessert I whizzed up a Chocolate mint PP shake for dessert.

A few calories short, but the ratios were right on.

Good sleep last night, would have been a bit better had I gone to bed a bit earlier, but laundry had to be done.

Today is Aerobics drill day. Some new stuff here
Cone Hops
High Knees
Star Jumps
Jump Rope
30 seconds each exercice, repeat for 10 circuits

Followed by 15 minutes on the elliptical.

Food for today
Eggwhites plus 1 egg omelette with veggies
Sweet potatoes
Chicken Breast
Turkey Spinach mix
Bananas (2)
Milk
Cottage Cheese and Strawberries
Shrimp
and veggies of some sort.

Might try part of the spaghetti squash with a red sauce for dinner.

It's my higher fat day.

Aerobic drills tonight

Cone hops
star jumps
High knees
Jump Rope...

30 seconds for each exercise x 10 circuits.
Made it through 4 full rounds
Fifth round made it through everything but the star jumps
rounds 6 and 7 made it through Cone hops and high knees
didn't do the last three rounds

Lessons learned from tonight's Aerobics Drill workout:

Yoga pants are not always the best choice. I had repeated wardrobe malfunctions due to the star jumps and jumping rope . Need to get some pants that have a drawstring. 'Nuf said.

I need a new pair of cross trainers because mine felt flat when I was doing the jumping around. No spring left in them at all.

I hate Nike's Ear Buds with a passion. can't get the suckers to stay in!

Put myself on the elliptical for 20 minutes worked up a real sweat. Thankfully no wardrobe malfunctions there.

Heee heee heee ... wardrobe malfunction!! I have to remind myself to not wear loose capris when I do yoga ... tree pose always causes them to slide down (from the pressure of my foot on the pants sliding down!).

Workouts look good ... looks like your aerobic capacity has really increased from the beginning!

Its getting there, but then she switched out the mountain climbers and the Burpee Jacks to something a little easier for me at this point. However, I may use the original routine at some point with Alwyn's stuff to help maintain the aerobic conditioning (which i think I was seriously lacking on).

I also asked her to program in some Yoga time for me (basic stuff - Yoga Zone Beginner DVD and their Evening Meditation DVD - It's very basic poses - Nothing too wierd) been having some mind body issues the past month or so and I know Yoga helped me be more Body Aware last fall when I was doing it.

But the bloat is coming off.... I was peeing like a race horse this afternoon and I can see some of my definition in my arms again.

Crap Crap Crap Crap.....

I thought I would have the gym until the 21st. Nope. They are closing it next Friday. I think tonight I will rearrange the living room so it's a little more condusive to do walking lunges in.

really it wouldn't be that hard. All I have to do is swap the stereo cabinet (the thing the X-mas Tree is sitting on) with the computer desk (and I shouldn't have to take anything off the desk to do that). Then it should be a nice area for doing walking lunges with. Right now I have to angle from the door to the squat rack and then into the bedroom. It'll be much easier to do with being able to walk from the door to the wall o' glass.

Ha! I always end up doing my walking lunges around corners and such as my space is at a real premium in my home gym!! Good for you on making it a priority!

Do you have iTunes? There is a great podcast called Yoga Download ... they have FREE 20 minute yoga classes for all levels with printable pose guides. If you go to their website, they have longer classes too for $2-$4. I don't like VIDEO yoga classes as it has me focusing on the instructor and trying to watch what is going on instead of focusing on myself and going deeper and feeling what I am feeling, KWIM?

Mobility/Flexibility

Dog Points 2x20
cat stretches 2x20
wall slides 2x20
scap pushups 2x20

I was really surprised with the scap pushups and that I could get 20 of them out. Either I'm not doing it right, or I'm way further along then I thought. But if it does the correction, then I'm cool.

TOnights dinner is spaghetti squash, maranara and some extra lean GB. It's not bad (I really didn't know what to expect) and I think I'll be taking some leftover for lunch tomorrow).
