Are you very low in carbs right now? This would always make falling asleep more difficult and I'd wake up sooner too.

Thanks julie.

Unless my tummy settles down I don't think I'll be working out today. lunch today is a thing of oatmeal that I found in my desk and maybe an apple. I had my usual omelette and that seemed to stir things up this morning.

I think I'm going to pick up some stuff for soup tonight on the way home. I have the turkey, stock, onions, and potatoes. All I really need is some carrots and garlic.

I actually feel good this morning. I managed to sleep without a lot of vivid dreaming last night which is good. A couple more nights like that and I should be in awesome shape. My tummy isn't bothering me either. I think diet coke, coke zero and gluten are going to play a very limited roll in my diet in the future based on the past few days. I've had problems with aspartame before that paired with the gas I had last week pretty much convinces me that I need to avoid these things all together.

I plan on lifting tonight after work. It should be a good workout.

Well I was gonna post this up in the DL and squat thread... but decided that until I am at least lifting my bodyweight and more that I really shouldn't post it up there....

But I set two PRs this evening because I was pissed at myself. I was responding back to an e-mail I got from Leigh and I realized I was trying to rationalize some excuses. So I deleted them because I realized what they where... and then after I got off work I went to lift.

I forgot to write down Leigh's workout before I went to the gym so I ended up doing some squats, CDLs, Bench Presses and DB Curls.

So here it is

Warmup
10 minutes precor

Squats
Warmup
1x5x45
1x5x95

1x3x115
1x3x125
1x3x135
1x3x145
1x1x155 PR (ratio is .62)

CDL
1x3x115
1x3x125
1x3x135
1x3x145
1x3x150
1x1x155 (PR)

BB Bench
1x10x65
1x10x75
1x10x80

DB Curls
1x10x15
1x8x20
1x10x15

Okay 45 minutes of Aerobic Activity this evening

22 minutes on the elliptical doing intervals. I got through 4 rounds of intervals.

28 minutes on the Treadmill at an "interval" it seemed really long to me and more like SS

But I was sweating like a pig when I got done!

Great lifts Paula! 155 is awesome!

Sometimes I think we should start a women's squat and DL thread. I get excited about my lifts too and then I look on there at the guys' and mine seem weak.

Congrats on the PR - good as they are in general, it's great when it's a big lift like that.

Thanks Julie. I think clearing the decks so to speak was a good thing for me. It helped clear up my thinking too.

Well I didn't posted because it wasn't at least my body weight. (I think the ratio was .62 (whatever 155/252 is).

On the DLs I think I could have done a little more except for my grip strength.

Okay I am off to turn in the keys to the old place, do some errands (it's my off night) and then go see my hunny.... see y'all tomorrow.
