that's about where I would be if it weren't for the fact I had to take a week off for a wonky knee thing. But at the same time, better to be safe than sorry.

Today is aerobic drill day I believe. Must look at my schedule and see which drill I need to do.

The little bird that was outside on my porch rail - its a feral parakeet (recent based on how close he let me get)

yeah... I think he was somebody's until recently.... he let me get really close before he flew off.

Tonight's activity -
3.5 rounds of cardio intervals on the stairstepper (its amazing how different machines hit you in different ways) and then 30 minutes of walking. was gonna do mobility drills but I'm wiped due to PMS and just not sleeping well. I've been having really creepy dreams and am waking up and keeping myself up for a bit at night so I don't go right back into the dream.

It is nice to see how the little bit of cardio is making a big difference overall. THere's a long way to go tho.... baby steps baby steps baby steps

You should be very excited with your progress. Is that evening or pollution in the second picture of downtown Houston?

Tin Man: thanks

Tina: No Simba the wonder cat did not see him

Greg

I'm assuming you mean the picture below. No that's not pollution. That's actually sea fog rolling in off of Galveston bay in the early morning. I think it was around 7 in the morning when this was taken.

Friday Night Lifts

Wide Stance DL (AKA Sumo DL)
1x15x75
2x15x65

Static Lunges
1x20xbw
1x10xbw
1x15xbw

Bentover BB rows
3x12x65

DB Press
3x15x15s (evidently I have a counting problem these were supposed be 3x12)

(okay I accidently did the front raises on the Wednesday's workout they should have been lat raises which I am doing here)

Lat Raises SS/W
3x15x7.5s

Standing Calf Raises
1x15x75
2x15x85

Planks
1x50
1x36
1x20

Theres one plank that didn't get counted because the freaking stopwatch stopped on .1 of a second. I probably held it for a good 15-20 seconds tho.

Sounds like a tv show -- "Friday Night Lifts" -- I like it!

Nice workout. Planks are tough -- I tried them myself just the other day. I did one set for about 30 seconds. Yours are looking real good.

Today is another lifting day. My rear hasn't recovered from wide stance dls and lunges on Friday.

Hung out with my honey last night. Watched The Birdcage and had some general tomfoolery going on (he he I think I'm about to cross over into the stronger than my guy realm). Need to lift and do a bunch of stuff around here. Back when I get the chance.

Nice going Paula - it wasn't too long ago that you were reduced to tears by this workout. Look at the great progress you've made - congrats for sticking with it.
