You know what's tasty? Those hot dogs wrapped in bacon that you get from the street vendors in TJ. Good stuff!
Know what else is good wrapped in bacon? Anything!

August 22
TRX Day! I decided to do Jill's TRX Workout #4 today.
Three circuits of each. No rest between exercises, 0-60 seconds rest between supersets.
A1: Atomic Press or Crunch 8-12 reps (8,8,8)
A2: KB or DB Woodchops 4-6 per side (25 lb 6,6,6)
B1: TRX Hamstring Curl 8-12 reps or as many as possible (12,12,12)
B2: KB or DB Snatch from Dead 4-6 per side (35 lb 6,6,6)
C1: Balance Lunges 8-12 reps per leg (12,12,12)
C2: One-arm KB or DB Swings 8-12 per side (25 lb 12,12,12)
D1: Suspended Side Plank (w/touch optional) 30 seconds per side or 8 touches per side ... only do once (30 sec/side)
D2: Wall Sit - one minute ... only do once (55 sec....just couldn't quite make it....)
As both Jill and Roland commented, the C1,C2 combo is really tough. Another great TRX workout courtesy of Jill!

Nice workout Egham - I'm strongly considering getting a TRX instead of a weight stack on the power cage I've got my eye on... This of course depends on the budget, but all in good time.

Thanks Stingo!
Don't you sometimes just hate how little things like budgets get in the way?
I really don't think you can go wrong with a TRX. And, once you have one, you can get a good workout just about anywhere..... out in the park on a nice day, when you travel or whenever you just need a change of scenery ...... you won't be confined to the basement.

6.8 mile run in the steambath that refuses to fade away. 54:06..... 7:57/mile.
My water bottle wasn't big enough....I seemed to sweat it out as fast as I drank it.
We desperately need some rain and cooler temps. It's been so dry and hot that the lake is further down than I've ever seen at it this time of the year. The power company keeps having to draw it down to maintain stream flows downstream of the dam and to run the hydros to meet the daily peak electricity demands. The water at the end of our pier is now only 3.5' deep...Normally, it's around 9' deep at this time of the year.

You can have some of our rain. It's like a faucet that just won't shut off around here. Sun, where are you....

We need to work out a swap. We're having almost more sun here than I can handle right now. It reminds me of California summers with lots of extra humidity.

Egham, nice TRX workout! It was fun, wasn't it? Weather is funny ... this is one of the coldest summers I remember here in New Hampshire ... this past week has felt distincly fall-like ... weird ...

and is followed up with 3 sets of the the following supersets (Each superset is repeated 3 times before moving on to the next superset; 30 sec rest between 1A and 1B with a 60 rest between repeats....No rest between 2A & 2B or 3A & 3B) –

Some load increases from last time and I almost managed to do all of the prescribed decline push-ups! I just couldn't eek out that last one....Next time!
Intervals after it cools down a bit this evening.
Now to drag myself to the hammock followed by a brief float in the lake.

How are you liking these workouts Egham? I'd been thinking of getting the TT workouts for the dumbbell/bodyweight programs (so I wouldn't need the barbells and other gear required by NROL). Great job and great variety with the TRX too.
